Gresell hit singles in the second and fifth innings and a double in the sixth inning. He finished with three runs scored and an RBI. Owen Osborne went 2-for-2 with two runs and a walk. Ryan Munzinger singled, doubled, walked drove in three runs and scored once. Tyler Allen singled twice, walked twice and crossed home once. Sam Byrne singled, tripled and scored one run. Nick Rene struck out two and retired all six batters he faced over two innings of relief work to pick up the win. Grejda went 2-4 with a double, an RBI and two runs scored in the win. Evan Bishop followed with a two-run base knock to knot the game. After a James Dietz walk put the go-ahead run in scoring position, Calixto delivered the go-ahead run with a single to right. Ryder Froman worked 2.2 innings in relief to pick up the win. Aaden Bishop went 2-for-4. Gomez Medina was 2-3 with a double and two runs scored. Hughey finished 3-4 with an RBI and two runs scored. Austin Cincinello struck out 12 in six innings to keep Sodus undefeated. After being down 2-0 entering the fourth inning, Sodus took a 3-2 lead. Carter Salerno walked, Jordan Orrange-Paton doubled down the left field line and Evan Laird singled. Orrange-Paton also tripled and had two RBI. Cooper Ingersol doubled and singled, scored once and walked once. Bradyn Orbaker singled twice. Cincinello also tacked on a single. Evan Laird had an RBI single and walked once. Salerno was walked twice and scored twice. Garrett Barron and Gauge Johnson both were walked once. Laird relieved Cincinello for the seventh inning and struck out one. Mason Snyder, Leo Egloff, Alex Bartholomew and Trevor Rheinheimer all recorded a hit. Leo Egloff struck out seven in four innings of relief. Ethan Davenport struck out 14 and walked four over five innings of two-hit ball to lead Genesee Valley-Belfast in a game that was played Macombs Dam Park – the site of the old Yankee Stadium. Davenport improved to 3-0 on the season. The junior went 2-for-4 at the plate. Nolan Hunter was 2-3 with two RBI. Jacob Tice finished 2-3. Ryan Daciw struck out three in two innings of relief. With the victory, GV-B’s Dennie Miles became the winningest coach in NYSPHSAA history surpassing Craig Phillips (Fort Plain) with career victory No. 807.
