Up 7-3 in the top of the seventh, Bradyn Sayers sent a two-run shot over the left field fence to put the game away for Webster Schroeder. Jack Kelly went 3-for-3 with a two-RBI double and two runs scored to lead the offensive attack while Tyler Cannon followed going 2-4, including a two-run homer in the top of the fifth that put the Warriors up 4-0. The senior led Schroeder in the RBI category with three. Elliott Johnson added a hit, a run and an RBI while Jackson Stone and Samuel Nick collected a hit and a run. Daniel Hilfiker and Dylan Dumont both picked up a run apiece. Dumont also hurled 4.2 innings, struck out five batters, allowed three hits and two runs to earn the win on the mound.

GREECE ATHENA (2-1) 6
Sammy Saucke went 3-for-3 with three runs and two runs batted in including an RBI triple in the first inning to get the scoring started for Greece Athena. Up 4-2 in the bottom of the fifth, the Trojans capitalized on Batavia errors as Saucke and Derrick Allen were both able to come home on wild pitches. Allen also added a hit and drove in a runner on a sacrifice fly in the first. Parker Goodness added a hit and two runs while Gio Stewart notched a hit and an RBI. Jacob Sova also recorded a hit on the day. Ryan Ciccone struck out six, walked one, allowed five hits and four runs in six innings for Athena. Chase Sullivan was rewarded the save with one strikeout and one hit allowed in the seventh inning. Maggio Buchholz finished 3-4, scored a run and drove in a run to lead Batavia. Brady Mazur collected a hit a run and an RBI while Nolan Ball and Brock Bigsby tallied a hit and a run scored each. Bronx Buchholz also picked up an RBI.

CANANDAIGUA (4-1) 3
Tied 2-2 in the bottom of the tenth, Johnny Mohammed hit a walk-off single that drove Jackson Clark home to lift Canandaigua to its fourth straight victory. The senior finished 3-for-5 with two RBI and a home run in the bottom of the fourth to put Canandaigua up 2-0. Cormick Schaeffer hurled three scoreless innings, struck out six batters and allowed one hit in notch the win on the mound. Samuel Clark went 2-4 with two runs scored while Nathan Brinza and Griffin Kierst both collected a hit each. For Eastridge, Aaden Bishop tallied a run while going 2-3 including an RBI double in the top of the sixth to tie the game at two apiece. Evan Bishop added two hits while Xzavier Hughey and Erik Gomez both picked up a hit.

GREECE OLYMPIA/ODYSSEY (2-3) 19
Matthew Jason went 3-for-3 with a triple and a double, five runs batted in and two runs while Tyler Ashton finished 3-3 with a double, four RBI and three runs scored to lead Greece Olympia/Odyssey to its second victory in the last three games. The Griffins scored 14 runs in the second inning to jump out to a 17-0 lead. Connor Welker struck out seven batters and allowed two hits in three innings to earn the win on the mound. The junior also tallied three runs and a two-RBI single. Curtis Welker ended 2-3 with a double and an RBI. Enrique Lopez collected a hit, three runs and drove a runner home while Juliun Carter also recorded a hit and three runs. Carlo Leon and Angelo Ubal both added two runs apiece.
LYNDONVILLE (0-2) 0
ELBA (2-0) 10 (six innings)
Mason Vigiano struck out seven without issuing a walk over four innings of two-hit ball to lead Elba. Nick Scott fanned three over two innings of no-hit work in relief. Bing Zuber finished 1-for-2 with a double, walk, three stolen bases, two runs and an RBI to lead the offense. March Caparco was 2-4. Nick Scott was 1-3 with three RBI.
“Great start to the season for our boys going 2-0 scoring 24 runs in our first two games,” Elba head coach Andrew Boyce said via email. “We look to carry this momentum into two games next week over spring break. Our starting pitchers’ two games in a row now have dominated games, with a deep rotation like ours if they give us quality starts like this I like our chances in any game.”
