Fontana singled, moved to third on an error and scored on Steinorth’s base hit to spark a six-run first inning. Victor added another half dozen in the second. Steinorth finished with two RBI on the night. Fontana had one. Kenadee Comstock went 1-for-2 with a walk, two RBI and a run scored. Kaylee Lenhard singled, drove in two and scored twice. Abigail Harris walked twice and scored twice. Alexah Loeser singled and scored two times. Ellie Reinke started and struck out three over three innings of work.

Hannah Herrick and Maddie Knapp each had two RBI. Adalyn Tham ended with three hits and one RBI. Piper Simpson drove in one run. Morgan Sutryk got the win going three innings and fanning six while giving up two hits. Adalyn Tham threw two no-hit innings with three strikeouts.

Rylee Richardson led Lyons in the circle hurling 10 strikeouts and giving up five hits. Richardson also had two hits and scored a run. With the game tied at 2-2 in the third inning, Richardson led off the inning with a double. Richardson stole third and Elise Wilikinson hit into a groundout to drive home Richardson and take a 3-2 lead. Baylei Reed doubled, Keira Weber walked and Jayla Bell scored them both with a two-run double to grab a 5-2 lead. Lyons scored nine runs in the fifth to force a mercy rule. Kamryn Bonnell went 1-for-2 with two walks and three RBI. Keira Weber ended 2-3 with one RBI. Wilkinson finished with one hit and three RBI. Peyton Bonnell had one RBI in the win. Zoey Yates topped North Rose-Wolcott with two hits. Olivia DeBoerdere had one hit and one RBI. Bella Youells had five strikeouts in the circle.

Ninth-grader Savannah Durham struck out eight and allowed two earned runs on five hits and a walk to pick up the win in her first varsity start. Durham led off the game with a home run. She finished 1-for-2 with two walks. Allison Harkness went 4-5 with three RBI. Chloe Lamb was 3-4 with two doubles and three RBI. Raine Denny finished 2-5, also with two doubles along with an RBI. Piper Hyde was 2-4 with three runs runs scored, and Emma Moeller went 1-3 with an RBI.

AJ McIntyre capped a decisive fifth inning with her second home run of the game to lead Avoca-Prattsburgh. Tied at two, Meyah Putnam singled and stole second. Payton Hopkins reached on an error, and Charlotte Peck followed with a two-run single. McIntyre took over from there. McIntyre finished 3-for-3 on the day. Hopkins was 2-4 with three runs scored. Ellie Harrell singled and walked. Brystol Butler and Harper Burd scored the Canisteo-Greenwood runs.
