
Jadeir Breedlove paced an Aquinas squad that averaged better than 70 points per game and earned the No. 3 seed in Class AAA. C.G. Finney’s Ethan Krog eclipsed the career 1,000-point mark and helped the Falcons to a 12-win season.
Private-Parochial League boys’ basketball coaches named the two student-athletes Player of the Year for their respective divisions.
Breedlove, the Division I Player of the Year, scored 20.0 points per game. He had a season-high 39 points against Padilla HS at Franklin campus. The senior also averaged 5.0 rebounds per game, 4.1 assists and 2.5 steals.
Breedlove also posted 34 points in a win over Bishop Kearney and 32 points against Rochester Academy Charter School.
Teammates Christian McCullough and Mackie Terry joined Breedlove on the Division I All-League team along with Jahmere Brown (Rochester Prep), Kyron Shaw (Rochester Prep), Julian Hill (Rochester Prep), Gavin White (UPREP), Ja’yvion Sampson (UPREP), Na’Vant Harrison (Vertus) and Terrance Marble (Vertus).

Krog, the reigning Division II Player of the Year, amassed 567 total points for a per game average of 25.7 to earn back-to-back top divisional honors. The senior guard accounted for 4.7 steals and 2.4 assists per game. He finished his career with 1,534 points.
Krog’s teammate, Braelen Broome joined him on the Division II First Team. Bishop Kearney Kings Alejandro Aguilar, Jayden Capers and Maddox Volpe also garnered Division II First Team honors along with Joe Aiken (Rochester Academy), Kingston Downs (Northstar Christian), Jay Garwood (Northstar Christian) and Max Skolen (Northstar Christian), Seth Patterson (Eugenio Maria DeHostos Charter School) and Luis Tolentino (Eugenio Maria DeHostos Charter School).
