Eighth grader Gwen DiIorio earned her first varsity win for Waterloo after spinning a three-hitter. She allowed both runs in the first inning and also drove in a run on a squeeze bunt. Haylee Beesley finished 3-for-4 with three triples and four runs scored for the Tigers, Gwyn Panek went 2-for-3 with a pair of doubles and runs scored, Tangel Williams doubled and knocked in four runs and Bella Vanni and Henley Guy both hit .500 on the day, with Vanni doubling and Guy scoring twice. Kendall Carr batted .500 for Newark, while Emma Thayer and Karina Natale each recorded a hit.

Mynderse’s offense ripped off 15 runs in its first offensive inning of the season to take control. Mercedes Santana and Ally Fenton led the way, with Santana going for two singles, a double and three RBI and Fenton going 2-for-5 with an inside-the-park home run, a single and three RBI. Kyah Lajewski and Makayla Williams each recorded a double for the Blue Devils, while Haley Young picked up the win in the circle.

Alexandria McKeel went 2-for-2 with a triple, a home run, two walks, three RBI and three runs scored for Livonia as the Bulldogs moved to 2-0 after taking a 12-2 lead through two innings. Alexa Olson finished a perfect 3-for-3 with two RBI and two runs, Ava Cook went 2-for-4 with two RBI and two runs and Gwenyth Strom was 2-for-4 with an RBI and two runs scored for Livonia. Madison Beach and Victoria Charlebois both had a hit, two RBI and a run scored, Alaina Turek and Karly Lawton both singled, walked and scored twice, Mckenna Collins knocked in two runs and scored once and Chloe Meys drove in a run and scored one. Cook tossed five innings for Livonia, allowing five unearned runs on five hits and two walks with three strikeouts.

Avoca/Prattsburgh ripped off eight runs in the fifth inning to get off on the right foot this season. Charlotte Peck led the way by going 3-for-3 with a double, a walk, two RBI, a run and a stolen base. Brooke Vanskiver went 2-for-3 with a double and a pair of runs scored for A-P, Meyah Putnam finished 1-for-4 with an RBI and three runs, Ellie Harrell contributed a hit, a walk, three RBI and a run, Elise Harrell went for a hit, an RBI, a run and a stolen base, Payton Hopkins and AJ McIntyre each went 1-for-3 with a walk and a run scored, Celine Switzer was 1-for-4 and Isabelle Button walked once and scored twice.
Polly Bay led Naples with a hit, a walk and a run scored, Natalie Blahm contributed an RBI single and a pair of walks, Abby Hall and Emily Lester each drew a walk and Grayce Hebding stole a base.

Abigail Radesi hit a home run and was one of four Geneseo hitters with three-hit days. The Blue Devils opened the scoring with eight second-inning runs and scored the game’s first 15 runs. Radesi finished 3-for-5 with two RBI and three runs scored, Kendal Bennett was 3-for-5 with three RBI and three runs, Madison Reitz went 3-for-4 with a triple, two RBI and three runs and Kylie Wall ended her day 3-for-4 with a walk, two RBI and two runs scored. Paige Rossborough added two hits, a walk, an RBI and three runs scored for the Blue Devils, Adelyn McDonald doubled, walked twice, knocked in a run and scored twice, Emily Metz singled, drove in a run and scored twice and Emma Conklin walked and scored. McDonald struck out 15 Dansville batters over six innings, allowing four hits and the one earned run.
Annie Ames doubled home Jaylynn Bridge, who reached on a single, for the Mustangs. Grace Bowes also doubled and Kera Metcalfe singled.
