Braelyn Isaman scored 14 points, but the Keshequa Wildcats saw their season end in the Far West Regional. Frewsburg jumped to a 19-10 lead by the end of the first quarter and the Wildcats were never able to make up the difference despite outscoring their Section VI opponent 17-11 in the final quarter. Riley Nageldinger and Alicia Wood each put up eight points for the Wildcats, while Bree Benner and Ryley Benner both tallied seven. Teghan Trocki led Frewsburg with 18 points. The game was delayed in the third quarter when all in attendance were asked to evacuate the gymnasium as fire alarms sounded. The game stoppage lasted no longer than 15 minutes.

With 1:04 left in the third quarter of Saturday’s New York State Public High School Athletic Association Class D quarterfinal, the undefeated the Elba girls’ basketball team faced a 10-point deficit.
