Jake McCarthy accounted for nine of his 11 points in the third quarter when Penfield used a 30-17 advantage to pull away from a one-possession game. McCarthy connected three times from the floor and converted the only free-throw opportunity he had in the stanza. Patrick Emling scored seven of his 13 points in the third, and Penfield took a 56-41 lead into the final eight minutes of action. Christian Zarzycki found the range from distance three times in the win and led the Patriots with 20 points. Jackson Green scored 14. Dallas Crawford (2), Michael Moxley (3) and Henry Barber (1) also scored. Churchville-Chili’s Brayden Stedman hit five triples in the game including three in the first quarter as the Saints kept pace with Penfield at 15-15. Stedman finished with 20 points. Lucas Karelus added 11 for C-C. Jason Small (8), Landon Healey (5), Josh Miner (2), Jason Starkweather (3) and Jacob Gonzalez (2) also scored for Churchville. Penfield moves on to the Class AA1 semifinals at Gates Chili as the Patriots go up against No. 4 Irondequoit on March 4.

Up two coming out of halftime, Mateo Pietrantoni poured in 12 of his team-high 16 points in the second half to lead Webster Thomas to its second consecutive victory. Sean Quinn followed with 15 points including nine from three-point land. Levi Kulik added 14 points while Joey Baller scored 11 second-half points. AJ LaLoggia knocked down a triple and five free throws for eight points while Billy Quinn picked up four points. Chase Finn and Danny Check recorded three points apiece. For Brighton, Dillon LahDon led all scorers with 20 points including 10 in the second quarter. Dan Regan accounted for 12 points while Abram Levy connected on three triples for nine third-quarter points. Tim Tourangeau and Yele Enya netted eight points each while Fernando Abreu Diaz and TJ Spence tallied three apiece. Webster Thomas advances to the Class AA1 semifinals to take on No. 3 Webster Schroeder at Gates Chili on March 4.

Connor Fulkerson connected on a 3-pointer in overtime and finished with 12 points to lead Webster Schroeder which overcame a late Hilton rally to clinch a spot in the AA1 semifinals. Aydin Stephens and Jack Kelly added 10 points apiece in the win. Kelly hit a pair of triples in the first quarter when Schroeder jumped out to a five-point advantage on the way to a 23-12 lead at halftime. Nick Schillaci (6), Tyler Washington (3) and AJ Amico (2) rounded out the scoring for the Warriors. Hilton’s Jack Smith and Shane Thompson accounted for 13 points in the fourth quarter when the Cadets used a 16-4 run to send the game into overtime. Smith posted a game-high 14 points. Thompson added 10. Matthew Mandrycky (9) and Payden Prince (4) also scored for Hilton. The game was the final as head coach for Hilton’s Troy Prince who earlier this season announced his retirement after 21 years on the bench for the Cadets. Webster Schroeder moves on to the Class AA1 semifinals where cross-town rival No. 2 Webster Thomas awaits on March 4 at Gates Chili.

Up three heading into the fourth, Chase Leonardo knocked down three triples and two free throws for 11 of his team-high 25 points to lift Irondequoit and snap a four-game losing streak. Josh Morse poured in a career-high 20 points including seven in the final eight minutes while Goti Bandas followed with 19 points. Myles Wynn added 11 with seven third-quarter points while DJ Kemp connected on a three and a deuce for five points in the final frame. Patterson tallied two points. Griffin Hopkins dropped a game-high 35 points including 22 in the fourth quarter for Victor. The senior also went 15-for-15 from the charity stripe on the night. RJ Johnson recorded 14 points while Brody Burgess netted eight. Colin Barber, Owen Dake and Ravi Chitre all picked up six points apiece while Gus Pappajohn netted five first-half points. Gage Hay (4), Brendan Shannon (2) and Sean Loyal (2) completed the scoring. Irondequoit travels to Gates Chili for the Class AA1 semifinals on March 4 against No. 1 Penfield.

I’zick Reaves stuffed the stat sheet with a game-high 23 points, seven rebounds, four assists and three steals to lead Greece Athena to its third straight victory. The senior netted 13 points in the opening eight minutes as Athena jumped out to a 25-14 lead the Trojans did not relinquish. Russell Ellis scored 17 points including eight in the first quarter. Dominic LaMar added 12 points and two blocks while Ethan Gorham registered eight points. I’zayah Reaves and Travis Mack both picked up six points apiece while Jake Figler ended with four. For Greece Arcadia, Xavier Smith joined the 1,000 point club with a team-high 19 points. Jahan Wilson accounted for nine points while Denzel Medlock followed with eight. Dominic Session recorded six points while Drake Sapp knocked down a three and a free throw for four points. Amir Brown (3) and Isaiah Fields (1) finished the scoring. Greece Athena takes on No. 5 Gates Chili at Webster Schroeder on March 4 in the Class AA2 semifinals.

Kobe Maroney accounted for 14 points including nine from long range while Nate Brinza added 12 points with six in the fourth. Drew Williamee netted two triples and a deuce for eight points while Finn Damann followed with seven. Jaida Pierce (3), Chase Senn (2), Tate York (2) and Jeremiah Laird (1) rounded out the scoring. For Brockport, Ty Sherman led the way with 13 points while Azay Odey scored seven of his 12 points in the third quarter. Daniel Dailey recorded eight points while William Sweeting picked up four points. Brodee Henshaw and Ethan Hart tallied two points apiece. Canandaigua takes on No. 3 Monroe in the Class AA2 semifinals at Webster Schroeder, March 4.

Derrik Davis added 13 points while Tremier Lewis followed with 11. Jaylen Givens recorded nine points while Jaden Robinson scored seven. Chris Elliot tallied two points. For Pittsford Mendon, Trevor Nally put up a team-high 15 points while Tyler Knapp and Josh Shadders netted 12 points apiece. Ryan Connolly picked up nine points while Amari Coleman registered seven. Curtis Bell led the way with 20 points including 11 in the second quarter as World of Inquiry outscored Livonia 31-9. The junior picked up six rebounds and five steals to pace WOI to its fourth victory in the past five outings. Jaeden Adams-Griffin accounted for 14 points while Junayde Richardson finished with a double-double of 13 points and 12 boards. Devin Dillon Jr. added 11 points while Kanaz Linder reached double-digits with 10. Marcus Norwood (3), Dayon Vera (3), Richone Washington (2), Calen Brinson (2) and Courtney Wellington (1) completed the scoring. Jack Henry put up a game-high 23 points including 12 in the second half for Livonia. Derrick Lane netted nine points while Owen Austin picked up four points and Trevor Wester three. Ryan Bosch, Nicholas Coyle and Jordan Ramirez all tallied two points each. World of Inquiry moves on to the Class B1 semifinals to take on No. 4 Hornell on March 4.

Down 41-34 at the start of the fourth, Carter Patterson netted eight of his 14 points in the final frame to lead Waterloo to back-to-back victories.Teammate Brandon Lee put up eight points all in the fourth quarter as Waterloo outscored Haverling 29-17. Dylan Caraballo led all scorers with 25 points including 14 in the final 16 minutes. Cam Jacobs added nine second half-points all from beyond the arc. Hayden Willett (4) and Justin Knowlton rounded out the scoring. For Haverling, Jacob Hagadone notched a team-high 19 points while Austin Durand ended in double-figures with 12 points. Michael Binkowski scored eight points while Owen Burlingame picked up seven. Maclain Wright and Gavin Price registered six points each. Waterloo goes up against No. 6 Mynderse in the Class B1 semifinals on March 4.

Wyatt Evingham connected on four 3-pointers and finished with a team-high 14 points as Hornell avenged a pair of regular season losses. Evingham also grabbed four rebounds in the win. PJ Picco accounted for 13 points, six rebounds and four assists for the Red Raiders. Hornell hit 10 3-pointers in the game. Demayne Dixon (10), Aaron McInerney (9), Austyn Gollnitz (7), Marco Picco (3), and Ben Woolever (3) also scored for Hornell. JJ Howard led Wellsville with 14 points. Trenton Green had 10 points. Wellsville defeated Hornell during the regular season by scores of 63-57 and 63-54. Hornell advances to the Class B1 semifinals to go up against No. 1 World of Inquiry on March 4.

Josh Harter netted a game-high 24 points and picked up eight assists and six boards along the way to pace Avon to its seventh victory in the last eight matchups. Avon looks ahead to the Class B2 semifinals on March 4 where Lyons awaits.

Contrell Parker Jr followed with nine points and eight assists while Stephen LeBrecht put up eight points and 13 rebounds. Ben Bookmiller Jr. also netted eight points. For Marcus Whitman, Brody Royston notched a team-high 18 points while Myles Prendergast scored 15 second-half points. Brayden Amaedo netted nine points while Logan Storms followed with eight. Tariku Blueye knocked down two triples for six points while Clark picked up five. Lyons takes on No. 1 Avon in the Class B2 semifinals on March 4.
