
The 2025 Section V Class C1 Girls’ Basketball bracket is made up of five representatives from Wayne County, four teams from Genesee County Division I, two each from Livingston County Division II and III and one apiece from Allegany County, the Private-Parochial League, Fingers Lakes East and Finger Lakes West.
No. 16 Warsaw beat No. 17 Sodus as the first round’s only game. The second round, which all of the remaining 16 teams will compete in, begins on Wednesday and the finalists will face off on March 8.
Reigning champion Bloomfield is seeded third and plays No. 14 Red Jacket in the second round. Top-seed Caledonia-Mumford is the winner of its last 10. Byron-Bergen claimed seven of its final eight regular season games to enter the tournament as the No. 2 seed. No. 4 Clyde-Savannah won four straight to end the regular season, as did No. 7 Kendall.
