The 2025 Section V Class B2 Girls’ Basketball bracket features three teams from Wayne County, two squads each from Steuben County, Genesee County Division I and Livingston County Division II, with one from Finger Lakes West. First-round games tip-off on Wednesday and the title will be crowned on March 7.
Hornell’s 2023 Class B2 championship was the most recent one, and the Red Raiders are now in Class B1. No. 1 Lyons and No. 2 Marcus Whitman enter at 18-2 and get byes to the quarterfinals. Lyons has won its last six. Marcus Whitman built an 11-game win streak earlier this season. No. 3 Le Roy won four straight from Jan. 24 to Feb. 4. Here’s the breakdown:
