The 2025 Section V Class D Boys’ Basketball bracket features all teams from Allegany County Division II and three from Steuben County Division II. Genesee Region Division II adds two teams to the bracket while a team from Allegany County Division I and Wayne County wraps up the 11-team field. First-round action tips off on Tuesday, February 25 with the championship set for Saturday March 8.

Fillmore enters the postseason as the first seed with a 17-3 record. The Eagles enter the postseason winning five of its last six after falling last season in the Class C3 semifinals to Notre Dame Batavia. The Eagles have won its past two games by a combined 84 points. Andover-Whitesville sits as the second seed in Class D with a record of 14-6. The Panthers rolls into playoffs as winners of its last six including four of those victories coming by 40-plus points. Jasper-Troupsburg earned the third seed with a 10-10 record. The Wildcats head into the postseason with victories in five of its past seven games. Friendship-Scio finished with the fourth seed and an 8-12 record. Reigning Class D champs Avoca-Prattsburgh are the fifth seed in 2025 with a 6-14 record. Here’s the breakdown:
