The 2025 Section V Boys’ Basketball brackets features three teams each from Finger Lakes West Region and Livingston County Division III while two teams represent the Private-Parochial League. The 11-team tournament field rounds out with one team apiece from Genesee Region Division II, Steuben County Division II and Steuben County Division I. The first round tips off on Tuesday, February 25 with the title game on Friday, March 7 at 5 p.m.

Honeoye heads Class C3 with a 19-1 record and seventh in NYS Class C. After taking a loss in the first game of the season back on Dec. 10 2024, the Bulldogs have not lost since then. Honeoye made the move after falling in the Class C2 quarterfinals last year. South Seneca/Romulus follows with an 18-2 record and the second seed. The Falcons head into the playoffs on a six-game win streak. Wheatland-Chili sits as the third team in Class C3 with a 15-5 record. The Wildcats also made the move from Class C2 after a loss in the quarter finals. Pavilion enters as the fourth seed with a 13-6 record. The top four teams all made the move from C2 to C3 as Pavilion enters its first C3 postseason as winners in eight of its last nine. Fifth seeded Charles G. Finney rolls into the playoffs winning five of its last six including a four-point victory over the fourth ranked team in NYS Class D Fillmore while No. 8 Keshequa enters sectionals as winners in seven of its last eight.
