The 2025 Section V Class C2 Boys’ Basketball bracket includes three teams from the Finger Lakes West Region and Allegany County Division I while Genesee Region Division II and Livingston County Division III bring two teams apiece. Genesee Region Division I, Wayne County and Steuben County Division I all add a team to complete the 13-team field. First-round matchups begin on Tuesday, February 25 with the championship matchup on Friday, March 7 at 7 p.m.
Dundee/Bradford enters as the top-seed in class C2 with a 15-5 record. After falling in the first round of the Class C3 playoffs last season, the Bravescots roll into its inaugural C2 postseason this year winners in six of its last eight games. Cuba-Rushford sits as the second seed in class C2 with a 15-5 record as well. The Rebels ended the regular season winning six of its last seven with a 30-point victory to top it off. Notre Dame Batavia enters right behind as the three-seed with a 14-6 record. The winners of Class C3 in 2024 made the move up to Class C2 and enter the postseason on a four-game winning streak all by 20-plus points. Right beside the Blue Devils as the four seed is 14-6 Bolivar-Richburg. After falling in the C2 semifinals last season, the Wolverines enter this postseason coming out victorious in seven of the past eight matchups. Class C2 is bound to have a new champion this year as last year’s champs, Byron-Bergen made the move to Class C1. Here’s the breakdown:
