The 2025 Section V Class B2 Boys’ Basketball tournament consists of four teams from Wayne County, two independent teams, three teams from Genesee Division I, two teams from Steuben Division I, one team from Private Parochial and one team from Livingston County Division II. First-round action begins on February 26 with the finalists clashing on March 8.
Top-seeded Avon (No. 8 NYSSWA) enters as the defending Section V Class B2 champion. The Riverhawks will face the winner of Williamson and Holley in the quarterfinal. Defending Class C1 champion Lyons jumped up to Class B2 this season and is the No. 4 seed. The Lions will face North Rose-Wolcott to open up postseason play.
