The 2025 Boys’ Basketball Section V Class B1 tournament consists of three teams from Finger Lakes-East, five teams from Livingston County Division I, one team from Livingston County Division II, one independent team and two teams from Rochester City Athletic Conference. First-round action begins on February 26 with the finalists clashing on March 8.
Top-seeded World of Inquiry (No. 9 NYSSWA) enters the tournament with a first-round bye and will face the winner of Livonia and Wayland-Cohocton. Reigning Class B1 champion Mynderse is the No. 6 seed and will face Dansville in the first-round. No. 5 Wellsville has won five of its last six games entering the postseason. Here’s the breakdown:
