NO. 1 HILTON (20-1-0) 6
Barrett Paolini saved all 21 shots he saw to help Hilton advance to the semifinals. Cameron Stewart led the Cadet offense with a power play goal and three assists. Casey Hanrahan found the back of the net twice and recorded an assist. One of Hanrahan’s goals came on the power play. Cameron Gebo, Hunter Hutteman, and Andrew Paolini all also found the back of the net. Paolini’s tally came a man short. Gannon Driscoll and Aiden Kennedy each collected an assist. Hilton will take on the fourth seed Portside Royals in the semifinals on Thursday, February 27.

Behind six goals in the first two periods, McQuaid started their Class A title defense on the right track. The Knights collected three power play goals. Jack Callery scored one of the power play tallies while Connor Edgecombe scored the contests opening marker at even strength. McQuaid will face-off against third seeded Pittsford in the semifinals on Thursday, February 27.

NO. 5 SPARTAN HOCKEY (11-9-1) 0
NO. 4 PORTSIDE ROYALS (13-8-0) 3
Danny Kucmerowski stopped all 24 shots he faced to help the Portside Royals start their Class A sectionals out on the right foot. Landen Christ scored the first two goals for the Royals while Sam Schultz tallied the final marker. Garrett Horn and Justin Pastorella assisted on Christ’s goals while Zac Haines and Joey Mallette helped on Schultz’s tally. Portside will face top seeded Hilton in the semifinals on Thursday, February 27.
