Advantage Federal Credit Union Section V Ice Hockey Class A Preview: McQuaid hopes to repeat

The 2025 Section V Class A Ice Hockey playoffs open with three first-round games on Wednesday. Quarterfinals take place on Friday with semifinals to follow on Thursday, February 27. The championship is scheduled for Monday, March 3rd at 5 p.m. at Gene Polisseni Center on the campus of RIT.

Hilton is the top seed looking to hold off the defending champion McQuaid. The fourth-seeded Portside Royals finished season on a four-game winning streak highlighted by a 5-4 overtime victory over Class B’s top-seeded Victor. Here is the breakdown:
