Alexander Grejda led five in double figures, and Fairport outlasted McQuaid in the annual Coaches vs. Cancer Game. Grejda connected nine times from the floor including once from behind the 3-point arc as part of a 19-point effort. The junior guard accounted for six points in the third quarter when Fairport built a five-point advantage at 57-52 heading into the final eight minutes of action. Landon Brunken and LaShard Lowry Jr. added 15 points apiece in the win while Jon Roessel scored 13. Hadi Dergham contributed 10. Drew Sisson (4) and Sam Roselli (2) rounded out the scoring for Fairport. McQuaid’s Henry Fox led all scorers with 23 points. Quinn Wilson added 20 for the Jesuit Knights. Jaiyden Jones had 13 points, and Lucas Wachter added 10. Andrew Gerenski finished of the scoring with six points. The game raised $2,000 for cancer awareness.

Up 28-25 at halftime, Tyler Knapp came out the locker room and dropped 10 of his game-high 24 points to help Mendon open a 13-point lead and snap a two-game losing streak. Amari Coleman accounted for 12 points including six from the line in the fourth quarter while Ryan Connolly added eight points all in the second half. Cayden Rathnam netted six points while John Leitner scored five. Trevor Nally (3), Jack Nally (3) and Josh Shadders (2) completed the Vikings’ scoring. For Irondequoit DJ Kemp and Goti Bandas netted 14 points apiece. Brien Walker and Chase Leonardo both tallied six points while Myles Wynn and Jayden Patterson each picked up four points. Maurice Clark (2) rounded out the scoring.

Micah Johnson netted eight of his game-high 19 points in the first quarter as East jumped out to a 22-13 lead en route to a third win in a row and second straight by 30-plus points. Zion Parson followed with 16 points including seven in the opening quarter. Kesean Leonard accounted for 13 points while Markell Kingston-Johnson added 12 while going 8-for-9 from the charity stripe. Jalen Gray (3), Tyler Benjamin (2) and Norman Simmons (2) completed East’s scoring. For Erie, Zahie Knight and Demetris Crosby led the way with seven points apiece while Marquon Darnell and Acelyn Peenice both scored six. Raheem Everton netted five while Julius Jefferies tallied three points. Joe Jones, Amari Farmer, Tan Lockett and Jayden Steward complete the scoring with two points apiece

Cooper Grassel recorded a team-high 22 points including 18 of those points coming from beyond the arc to lead Gananda to its third straight victory. Hunter Vogt accounted for 19 points while Owen Switzer added 13 points all in the second half. Adho Magee connected on three triples for nine points. Maddox Stoughton (3) and Braeden Caviness (2) rounded out Gananda’s scoring. TJ Crowder led all scorers with 30 points including 13 in the second quarter for Avoca-Prattsburgh. Carter Button finished in double-figures with 10 points while Colin Zurlick added seven. To complete the scoring, Connor Puralski tallied five points and Austin Swift picked up two points.

Aiden Upright led all scorers with 20 points while teammate Owen Pike followed with 19 of his own to pace Keshequa to its second 50-plus point win of the season. Aiden Howe netted 11 points while Cameron Wood reached double-digits with 10 points. Ian Hinrich accounted for nine points while Zach Smathers tallied six. Brady Wood (5) and Nolan Therrien (4) rounded out the scoring.

Tied 53-53 with 10 seconds remaining, John Thomas Grover drove in the lane and passed it out to Emmit Hill who hit the game-winner from beyond the arc at the buzzer to lift Perry and put a two-game losing streak to an end. Hill and Grover finished with 12 points apiece while Tyler Harvey led the way with a double-double of 16 points and 13 rebounds along with six steals. Parker Tallman added nine points and five assists while Beau Slocum notched seven points and 10 boards. For Mount Morris, Anthony Hightower stuffed the stat sheet with 30 points to lead all scorers, 10 rebounds, four steals and three assists. Luis Crespo-Toledo netted 16 points including 12 from three-point land. Matt Bacon scored five points while Shawntez Brown picked up two points and eight rebounds. To round out the scoring, Ben Canary tallied two points.

Player of the Game Brody Ryan put up 22 points and six rebounds to pace Dundee/Bradford to its fifth 20-plus point victory. After trailing 23-17 at the end of the opening quarter, the BraveScots allowed only 20 points the rest of the way. Teammate Aiden Webster picked up 15 points, six rebounds and six assists while Chris Clancey added 14 points, eight rebounds and four assists.
