Marcus Norwood’s nine-point fourth quarter helped World of Inquiry edge out Mynderse Academy to remain undefeated this season. Norwood was second on the team in scoring with 14 points, but he led the Griffins in steals with five. Jaedon Adams-Griffin was the one to lead World of Inquiry in points with 16, four of which came from free throws in the final frame. His four free throws were the most on the team in the contest. He also picked up six rebounds, which tied Junayde Dunn-Richardson for highest on the Griffins. Dunn-Richardson came up with two blocks in the win as well. Kanaz Linder (11), who came in second in steals with four, Dunn-Richardson (10) and Curtis Bell were the others to put up points for World of Inquiry. Anthony Luffman posted 15 points to lead Mynderse Academy in scoring. He put up 11 of his points in the fourth quarter, with nine of them being from three consecutive three-pointers. His three treys led the Blue Devils for the game. Griffin Hilimire recorded 12 points, all of which came inside the three-point arc to lead the squad with six two-pointers. Jack Brady (10), Alan Plummer (5), Derek Mercedes Rivera (4) and Braeden Cimineri (3) rounded out things in the scoring department.

Connor Chapman accounted for 11 of Canandaigua Academy’s 26 points in the third quarter to increase their winning streak to five games. Nine of Chapman’s points were free throws, as he went nine-for-10 in the quarter and they were the only free throws he took in the contest. He ended the night with a team-high 19 points. Kobe Maroney was second in points for the Gray Wolves with 17. He led the team with three treys in the victory. Nate Brinza (12), Finnan Damann (11), Jeremiah Laird (6), Jaiden Pierce (6), Chase Senn (2), Tate York (2) and Drew Williamee (2) rounded out the scoring for Canandaigua Academy. Mike Cathey led Greece Odyssey in the scoring department with 18 points, eight of which came in the second quarter. Gavin Williams was second in points on the squad with 12, five of which were on free throws, which led all Leopards in the game. Jayson Figueroa (5), Kingston Santiago (5), Jakari Canady (4) and Elijah Burgio (4) completed Greece Odyssey’s scoring.

A 21-point night from Joey Vigerzi helped Gates Chili break a two-game losing streak. The Spartans were up 36-19 going into the second half and Vigerzi dropped 11 points in the third quarter to assist Gates Chili in having a 51-29 lead at one point. He also recorded four rebounds, four assists and a steal in the win while also posting a team-high three treys. Tremier Lewis was second on the Spartans in points with 12 and he posted six rebounds along with three steals. Derrik Davis finished with eight points while also posting four rebounds, three assists, two blocks and two steals. Jaylen Givens (10), Nehemiah Pye (8), Jaden Robinson (4), Gianni Salandy (4), Chris Elliot (2) and Jadon Pontera finished the scoring. Jahan Wilson hit the 20-point mark with exactly a 20 points to lead Greece Arcadia. 16 of his points came from two-point baskets and he was the only Titan to record double figure points. Xavier Smith (9), Denzel Medlock (7), Drake Sapp (6), Amir Brown (5), Kenny Rivers (3), Dom Session (2) and Cayden Foote (2) rounded out the scoring for Gates Chili.

After being down 31-29 at halftime, a 27-point second half from Pittsford Sutherland helped break a two-game losing skid. The Knights also held Brighton to eight points in the third quarter and with the win, Pittsford Sutherland has scored at least 50 points in nine of their games this season. Their scoring in the victory was led by Jackson Birch, who netted 24 points with 20 of them coming off of baskets inside the three-point arc. Hayden Birch recorded 19 points as he led the team in free throw makes with seven out of eight attempts. Sam Burne picked up 13 points while Tyler Allen posted a bucket for two to complete the scoring. Abram Levy’s 21 points was the most for Brighton in the game after draining a team-high five treys, four of which came in the second half. Omoyele Enya was the only other Bruin to record double digit points as he had 10 for the night, all of which came in the first half. Eight of those points were scored in the first quarter. Peter Odhiambo (7), Tim Tourangeau (4), Dan Regan (4) and Kaleb Matthews (2) completed the scoring for Brighton.

Chase Leonardo’s 12-point second half not only got Irondequoit to .500, but extend their streak of 40+ points in a contest to 10 games. All of his baskets came on a team leading six free throw makes and four treys, which tied Taiden Makubire for most on the squad. Every free throw from Leonardo was taken in the second half. Makubire posted a career-high 14 points to come right behind Leonardo in scoring. Goti Bandas (8), DJ Kemp (6), Jayden Patterson (4), Myles Wynn (3), Devin Panzardi (2) and Maurice Clark (2) completed the Eagles’ scoring. William Sweeting led Brockport with 13 points, 10 of them coming from two-point buckets. It was a three-way tie for second in scoring for the Blue Devils, as Azay Odey, Daniel Dailey and Tyler Judd all netted eight points. To complete the scoring, Ayden Matthews recorded six points, Brodee Henshaw posted three and Ty Sherman scored one.

A seven-point fourth quarter from Hunter Streb helped secure Spencerport’s third win in its last four games. The Rangers had a 48-39 lead heading into the final frame. Streb led his team with 19 points in the victory. Tony Kanaley was in second with 15 points, with 12 of them coming off a team-high four three-pointers. Kamariel Labord’s seven points was a career-high for him. Cam Khuns (6), Eli Schuyler (6), Chris Harris (6), Eric Schuyler (6), Jevon Jackson (3) and Jah’Mere Pritchett (2) were the other Rangers to score. Caiden Evans netted 21 points for Greece Olympia, 14 of them came in the fourth quarter as the Spartans attempted to mount a comeback. Terry Griffin Jr. was right behind Evans with 18 points, eight of them came from inside the three-point arc, which was the most on the team. Curtis Welker (10), Bran’Dale Lester (7), Connor Welker (5) and Kahliel Pritchett (1) finished the scoring for Greece Olympia.

Dundee/Bradford came back from a 20-19 deficit at halftime to extend its winning streak to seven games. They have also now gone seven straight games of holding opponents to under 40 points. Jeremy Stiles netted 22 points with 18 of them being scored on six three-pointers. Alex Goultry was right behind Stiles with 12 points and posted 11 rebounds. Aidan Webster scored seven points for Dundee/Bradford and picked up seven rebounds as well.

A game-winning basket from Truman Hill with five seconds remaining in the final quarter helped Red Jacket rebound from a loss with its sixth win in the past seven games. The basket came on a pick-and-roll play that was assisted by Timmy Brown. The Cardinals were initially down by seven points with two minutes left in the frame after having a 32-26 lead at halftime. Brown ended the night with a team-high 20 points while also recording five assists and seven rebounds. Hill posted a double-double with 13 points and 16 rebounds. Dixon Hobart (6), Andersen Zepkowski (5), Jackson Kennelly (4) and Wyatt DeCann (4) rounded out the scoring. HAC was led by James Michael with 17 points while also recorded a team-high 12 rebounds. He also picked up two steals as well. Ryan D’Arduini was second in points with 11, but led the team with six steals while also adding six rebounds and five assists to his name. Oliver Riveros and Josh Pearson came tied for second in rebounds with eight while also posting six points and four points respectively. Jack Diehl finished with six points while Kaison Ashford netted five to finish off the Wolves’ scoring.
