Caleb Rice accounted for eight of his 11 points in the second quarter when Geneseo erased an early deficit and went on to win its sixth straight game. Trailing by five, Rice hit twice from behind the 3-point arc and converted a pair of free throws as the Blue Devils outscored Fillmore by six to take a 30-39 lead into halftime. Jackson Willis added two triples of his own as part of game-high 24 point effort. Avery Helper contributed eight points in the win. Luke Davis (4) and Reese Byrnes (2) also scored in the win. Fillmore’s Campbell Mucher found the range from distance twice in the opening quarter part of an overall effort that saw the Eagles (ranked No. 1 NYSSSWA Class D) hit four triples in the opening eight minutes to take a 16-11 lead. Jonah Bialek led Fillmore with 20 points including one of his three threes in the first quarter. Mucher and JD Bialek scored 10 apiece. Isaiah Sisson had eight points and Jameson Rhett, six.
