The 2024-25 Section V Boys’ Basketball season is in full swing. Season outlooks for Bloomfield, Dundee/Bradford, HAC, Honeoye, Mynderse, Naples, Red Jacket, and South Seneca/Romulus will get readers ready.
BLOOMFIELD BOMBERS
Record last season and finish: 9-10, lost in quarterfinal to Lyons
Coach: Jeff Pistritto (2nd season)
Top returners: Ben Jones Sr.; Braedon Smith Sr.; Grady Rogers Jr.; Ryan DiMeno Sr.
Top newcomers: Sean Toon So.; Dagan Brewster Jr.; Caleb Beadness Jr.
Next Game: December 20th vs. Red Jacket
Outlook: With the loss of Cam Smith and the seniors from last season, the Bloomfield Bombers will be looking at new leadership. This season, the Bombers are a younger team in a complete Finger Lakes West Division. Last season, they won a complete 1st round sectional game at Geneseo but unfortunately lost to Lyons in the 2nd round. All the players on the Bloomfield roster will be looking to score along with playing solid defense.
DUNDEE/BRADFORD BRAVESCOTS

Coach: Les Miller (18th season, 204- 138) Nick Bailey (3rd season, 21-21)

Outlook: Returning 6 seniors and 1 sophomore, the BraveScots are an experienced team that is ready to battle this season. After lots of offseason work from this group, they come in with a tough schedule to set them up for sectionals. The squad brings only 2 players that were not on the team last year, Grady Cole and Kaiser Kiklowicz. Aidan Webster and Chris Clancey look to be the duo in charge that leads the squad this season.
HAC WOLVES
