Canandaigua used a 29-13 run in the first half to establish an insurmountable lead and reach 4-0. Leah Sheridan led Canandaigua scorers with 15. Ava Read and Julia Geitner scored eight apiece. Eily Hubler (7), Sophia Frayne (6) and Macy Falk (6) chipped in buckets for the Gray Wolves. Brockport’s Lydia Childs had 15 points.

Pittsford Sutherland clawed back from a seven-point halftime deficit, winning quarter three 19-10, for its third season win. Petra Hunt scored 28 in the second half, ending with 31. All after halftime, Hunt drained seven 3-pointers, a new Sutherland record. Lucy Bush tacked on 13 points, 11 rebounds and six assists. Karina Natale dropped 22 points for Newark. Malia Brown contributed eight points and eight rebounds.

Selena Maldonado (13) and Payton Bentley (13) led Hornell scorers in the Roger Weiss Memorial Tournament win. Jordyn Dyring (11) reached double figures. Raegan Evingham (8) and Mia Nasca (3) rounded out the scoring.

Marcus Whitman built a 24-8 halftime lead en route to its third straight win. Aliysiah Clark scored 10 with seven steals. Lily Carroll and Maddie Daggett each finished with 10 points and four rebounds. Evy Royston recorded nine points, eight assists and five steals. Cecelia Conley added seven points and four boards. Sophie Snyder (4), Helen Snyder (4) and Ellie Deatherage (2) found the basket.

Elba got its second straight win to start the season behind Brea Smith’s 21-point, 12-rebound double-double. Sydney Reilly put up 18 points and 13 boards. Lydia Ross and Ava Buczek were contributors defensively. Other Bees to reach double figures were Janessa Amesbury (11) and Riley Shallenberger (10).

Meyah Putham put up 18 points including an eight-point third quarter that helped protect A-P’s 21-15 halftime lead. A-P outscored ER 25-21 in the final sixteen minutes. Evelyn Travis scored eight. Payton Hopkins, Tyanna Rivera-Pike and D’Mariannah Hinson-Pike poured in six each. Breanna Jorritsma added two. Aniyah Eldridge led ER scorers with 23 including an 18-point second half. Alex LaBounty tallied seven. Elizabeth Grbic, Deandra Lamont and Ella Romach had two apiece.

Sofia Falleti was the spearhead as NDB stayed perfect behind her 19-point, 16-rebound double-double. Her sister, Gianna Falleti, contributed 11 points with three 3-pointers plus nine boards. Clairissa Milliman and Shirley Thompson added 10 points a piece.
“Today was a tremendous win for us on the road against a Class A school with our young team,” said NDB head coach Vinny Falleti. “They ran the floor and played very aggressive. I am so proud of their intensity and determination.”

Marci Hutler exploded for 43 points in New Life’s win. She scored double-digit points in each of the first three quarters, including 28 points by halftime. Kaziah Ntiamoah tallied eight points. Danielle Quampah (2) and Shinaida Abinkeng (1) scored. Elsie Oechsle led Northstar with 12 points including three 3-pointers. Abby Eschner added 10. Malie Knilson (3), Emma Kelly (2), Kayla Irwin (2) and Maliyah Gunnis (2) rounded out the scoring.
