Max Skolen and Jay Garwood both poured in 15 points to power Northstar Christian at home. Skolen connected on one three-pointer, while Garwood uncorked three. Davonn Stevens grabbed 14 rebounds. Kingston Downs added 12 points and seven assists. Miles Tomlinson chipped in 12 points on four baskets. For HAC, Ryan D’Arduini scored a team-high 14 points. Oliver Riveros followed with eight points on four shots.

A.J. LaLoggia tallied 15 points and knocked down three shots from beyond the arc, boosting Webster Thomas on the road. LaLoggia made five baskets and went 2-for-2 at the charity stripe. Sean Quinn followed with 13 points, making seven free throws. Levi Kulik scored seven of his 10 points in the second half and went 3-4 at the line. Joey Baller uncorked a pair of three-pointers and finished with eight points. Owen Tehan scored six points on two buckets. Billy Quinn chipped in four points for the Titans. Chase Fitch went 3-6 at the line. For Pittsford Sutherland, Sam Byrne led with 15 points and made seven shots inside the arc. Jackson Birch knocked down 10 free throws and had 14 points. Tyler Allen drained four three-point jumpers. Hayden Birch made two of his three baskets inside the arc for seven points. Roman Goldstein had three points.

Alejandro Aguilar scored 18 of his game-high 27 points in the second half, lifting Bishop Kearney in the season opener. Aguilar netted 12 shots inside the arc. Jayden Capers followed with 21 points and knocked down five free throws. Noah Terry drained a pair of three-pointers in the opening frame. Colby Speight had three charity stripe conversions and tallied five points. For Vertus, Terrance Marble dropped a team-high 22 points and drilled six shots from deep. Na’vant Harrison added seven points. Denim Weaver made three shots and finished with six points. Joseph Figueroa-Diaz uncorked a pair of three-pointers. Bernardino Almedina and Brian Holloway both had three points. The win was the first for Kearney under new head coach John McCauley.
