Behind a two goal second period, Pittsford was able collect its first win of the season against a Section V team. Andrew Paolini opened the contests scoring for Hilton with an assist from Cameron Gebo in the first period. David Pollard tied the game late in the period for the Panthers. Keegan Ahern scored the first of the two second period goals for Pittsford on the power play with assists from Pollard and Drew Ricketts. Evan Weiner added on the other Panthers goal with some help from Pollard and Luke Albano. Lucas Grizzanti brought the Cadets within one with a late third period goal with assists from Mason Knight and Gannon Driscoll. Ricketts sealed the game with an unassisted empty net goal with one second left on the clock.

BRIGHTON/HFL/EASTRIDGE (0-1-0) 2
Landon Bryan led the way for Irondequoit with a two-goal performance to help the Eagles bounce from a season opening defeat. Tommy Holve and Dylan Carey both collected a goal and an assist in the contest. Matthew Parsons and Henry Velepec also found the back of the net for the Eagles. Douglas Velepec tallied three assists for Irondequoit while Robert Wunsch, Matt Whalen, and T.J Mayer each collected a helper. Emmet Landt scored both of Brighton/HFL/Eastridge’s goals including one on the power play. Ryan Hurwitz collected his 1,500th career save in net for the Bruins during his 39-save effort.

Simon Kowal’s three-point performance helped Victor start its season on the right track. Kowal found the back of the net twice and chipped in an assist for the Blue Devils. Brother Oliver and Jacob Kurilovitch also found the back of the net for Victor. Eli Weingart, Ian Kloiber, Caleb Clark, and Oliver Lutz all collected helpers in the contest. Ryan Prusak, Matt Turner, Nick Maslowski all found the back of the net for Spartan Hockey. Maslowski’s came with the man-advantage. Zach Fennell recorded two assists while Wyatt Flannery, Oliver Sunday, and Parker Monette each collected a helper.

Jameson Motyka found the back of the net four times to guide Batavia Notre Dame to back-to-back victories. Motyka’s last goal came a man down. Sam Pies scored a shorthanded and power play goal for the United. Jake Hutchins tallied a three-point performance with a goal and two assists. Cade Shamp also found the back of the net for the United. Brady Johnson tallied four assists while Will Stevens collected two helpers. Luke Staley, Liam Berger, Brady Carney, Chase Cummings, and Maggio Buchholz all registered an assist in the contest. Mikey Dossier led the way for Aquinas with two goalS and two assists. One of Dossier’s goals came short handed. Caleb Wood scored a power play goal and tallied two assists. Ryan Carmody, Tyler Muir, and Ares Miller scored a goal and registered an assist for the Lil’ Irish. Muir’s goal came with a man advantage. Louie Ferrari and Ryan Whitney each recorded a haleper.

Liam Kivimaki and Ryan Allen both recorded two goals and an assist to help WFL collect its first win of the new campaign. Each of them connected once on the power play. Joseph Valenti tallied his first two varsity points with a goal and an assist. William Hand also scored and registered an assist for the Panthers. Blake Hollister also found the back of the net for WFL. Graham Mauchly recorded two helpers. Robby Johnson, Joe Walsh, Aiden Dunton, and Sean Allen all collected an assist for the Panthers. Max Tragoutt and Julien Hunnsinger scored the goals for Livingston. Ryan O’Duffy and Dominic Agosto recorded assists on the goals.

Christian Stasko helped Canandaigua stay undefeated with a two-goal effort. Alex Chen and Maddox Smith both tallied a goal and an assist each for the Grey Wolves. Dylan Green also scored for Canandaigua. Gavin Nemitz, Karl Warren, and Arthur Fuller all registered two helpers. Carter Griffin led the way for the Greece Storm with two goals and an assist. Camden Monks scored a goal and an assist. Chase Benham also scored for the Storm. Trever Griffin registered two assists while Jayden Gargana and Noah Hennigan each collected a helper.

FAIRPORT (0-1-0) 4 OT
Ben Kanellis scored the overtime game-winner to help Churchville open the season with a victory. Kanellis also led the Saints in points with four. Thomas Edwards opened the contest’s scoring for Fairport with an assist from Owen Sergeant in the first. Ryan Hanley tied it up early in the second with help from Ryan Amico and Cooper Lass. The Red Raiders scored two straight power play goals from Garrett Martin and Corey Rene. Jack Gosiewski assisted on Martin’s goal while Marc Hillier helped on Rene’s tally. Churchville tied the game with a two goal stretch of their own early in the third. Anthony Indiano got the Saints back within one with assists from Kanellis and Lass. Carter Brady tied the game on the power play with some help from Kanellis and Grayson Galliford. Hillier regained the lead for Fairport late in the third unassisted. 49 seconds later Galliford tied the game on the power play for Churchville with assists from Kanellis. With 1:35 left in the extra frame, Indiano set up the junior forward with the game-winner.

Zach Broccolo led Webster Schroeder to a season opening victory with a three-point performance. Broccolo scored the contests first two tallies with one coming in the first period and one in the third. The third period goal came on the power play. Jake SanSoucie and Dylan Peeso assisted on the first period goal while Scott Wagner and Nicholas Scott assisted on the second goal. Blake Smith extended the Warrior’s lead to three in the third with assists from Anthony and Dom Pusateri. Anthony Pusateri gave Webster a 4-0 lead with some help from Broccolo. Joseph Mallette scored the lone goal for Portside.

WEBSTER THOMAS (1-0-1) 3
WILLIAMSVILLE EAST (VI) 3 OT
Webster Thomas erased a 2-0 first period deficit to force a tie and stay unbeaten. Cam Hall cut the deficit in half with an assist from Cole Burton in the second. Tino Magliozzi tied the game for the Titans. After falling behind 3-2 in the third period, Teddy Paprocki tied the game for the Titans with some help from Hall. Webster Thomas was not able to capitalize on an overtime power play leading to the tie. Webster Thomas outshot Williamsville 33-31 in the contest.

Caleb Wood scored four goals to help Aquinas get its first win of the season. Mikey Dossier scored twice and recorded a helper for the Lil’ Irish while Ryan Carmody scored a goal and tallied two assists. Tyler Muir collected two assists for Aquinas. Nick Rene tallied a hat trick for Fairport. Brother Corey also found the back of the net for the Red Raiders.
