Section V Girls’ Soccer gave out seven sectional championships this season. To go along with those team accomplishments, individuals were recognized by coaches with All-Tournament Team honors.
Savanna Biehler and Andrea Wilson led the way with two goals and an assist apiece as Fairport won its second straight Class AAA title and eighth overall. The duo topped the Class AAA All-Tournament selections. Eliana Biehler and Avery Slater joined their teammates on the All-Tournament team. Eliana Biehler accounted for a goal and an assist while Slater was part of a defense that did not allow a goal during postseason.
Rush Henrietta’s Layla McLean found the back of the net in the sectional semifinals while goalkeeper Natalie Wood racked up 11 saves in two playoff games including nine saves in the Class AAA final. Briella Morgan joined the All-Tournament team along with her Rush-Henrietta teammates.
Marilena Daiz and Leylah Jones both got nods for the All-Tournament team from RCSD United.

Lindsay Lenhard headed the Spencerport offense with three postseason goals and four assists, and the Rangers won their ninth straight sectional title. Lenhard along with teammates Liana Tata, Jayda Solomon and Emily Peacock highlighted the Class AA All-Tournament team. Tata found the back of the net twice in the quarterfinals against Webster Schroeder while Solomon netted a goal in the Class AA final. Peacock had a goal and an assist in the postseason.
Hilton’s Sierra Bianchi racked up 22 saves and allowed two goals through four postseason games to earn a Class AA All-Tournament selection along with teammates Hayden Lagueras and Olivia Pilato. Abigail Devine and Julia Russo from Greece Athena also were named to Class AA All-Tournament selections as well as Penfield’s Lyla Schenck and Molly Brown
Victor’s Mckenna Reh earned a Class AA All-Tournament selection along with Churchville-Chili’s Avery Aloi and Webster Schroeder’s Jocelyn Gudyka.
Charlotte Engin led the way to Pittsford Mendon’s 12th sectional championship with four goals and three assists including the game-winner in double overtime. The senior was one of four Vikings on the Class A All-Tournament team. Lily Larimer, Kate Crowley and Gabby Giordano joined Engin on the Class A team. Larimer netted four goals while Crowley racked up 14 saves during the postseason.
Crosstown rival Pittsford Sutherland earned three nods to the Class A All-Tournament: Victoria Froula along with defenders Skyler Fliss and Lauren Manjervoic.
Ella Shamp and Kylee Brennan represented Batavia on the Class A team along with Our Lady of Mercy’s Elizabeth DeHond and Julia D’Anza.
Lily Boesel (Palmyra-Macedon), Addison Rice (Wayne), Hannah Roxstorm (Greece Olympia), and Malia Brown (Newarks/Lyons) wrapped up the Class A All-Tournament team.
Parker Graham netted four goals including a hat trick in the semifinals to lead Hornell to its sixth sectional title. Selena Maldonado netted a goal in the finals against and tallied one assist to earn Class B All-Tournament selections along with teammates Lily Hoyt and Maddie Rudenauer.
Haverling’s Makayla Smith racked up 16 saves and allowed one goal through postseason play to earn a spot on the Class B All-Tournament team. Riley Beaty led the Rams offensively with four goals and two assists including the game-winner against Livonia in the quarterfinals. Trieste Sprague joined her teammates with a selection of her own after picking up one assist in the postseason.
Le Roy’s Bailey Caton and Zoey Humphrey also received earn All-Tournament nods along with Mynderse teammates Peyton Verkey and Amelia Reese.
Megan Tyler (Dansville), Penny Stewart (Avon), Maihue Miranda-Wiltberger (Penn Yan), and Kiersten Einhiple (Livonia) rounded out the Class B All-Tournament Team.
Katherine Kuhl racked up 28 saves over four shutouts to lead Williamson to its eighth sectional title and first since 2019. Kuhl was one of four Marauders on the C1 team. Teammate Lauren Schmeelk led the offense with one goal and two assists while Kendall Fernaays registered three assists to earn a spot on the Class C1 All-Tournament team. Audrey Murray was part of the defense in front of Kuhl.
Geneseo’s offensive attack was led by Madilyn Ladelpha as she finished with five goals and two assists after four games. Alison Fowler netted four goals and picked up four helpers while Gabriella Lee found the back of the net three times and tallied three assists along the way. Miley Baughman and the defense only allowed two goals all postseason to earn a spot on the All-Tournament team.
Marcy Kast (Bloomfield), Selia Kachmaryk (Bloomfield), Alivia Wolf (Holley), Zoey Wolf (Holley), Cloey Larabee (Cuba-Rushford/Hinsdale), Marley Sharkey’s (Red Creek), Lily Chambers (East Rochester) and Ellie Tillotson (York/Pavilion) all earned spots on the Class C1 All-Tournament team.
Mia Gray led the way with eight goals and four assists including the game-winning goal against Kendall to lift Byron-Bergen to its fourth consecutive sectional championship. Gray garnered Class C2 All-Tournament honors along with teammate Elizabeth Starowitz who had one goal and one assist postseason. Lucy Rea and the Bees’ defense limited opponents to one goal during the postseason while Natalie Prinzi registered 15 saves over four games to earn selections.
Kendall’s Sophia Picardo led the way with three goals and five assists to get a spot on the All-Tournament squad along with teammates Brooke Rodas and Addison Kludt.
Bre Bishop (Caledonia-Mumford), Ava Amorese (Caledonia-Mumford), Bayleigh Tallman (Genesee Valley-Belfast), Hannah Southwick–Powers (Genesee Valley-Belfast), Katherine Winchester (HAC), Ellie Tangeman (Warsaw), Ava Buczek (Oakfield-Alabama/Elba) and Harper Paull (Gananda) rounded out the Class C2 All-Tournament team.
Ava Thayer netted six goals and picked up an assist to lead Keshequa to its fifth sectional title. The senior forward was one of four from Keshequa to make Class D All-Tournament. Teammate Braelyn Isaman found the back of the net three times this postseason and picked up an assist while Lilly Hugi registered four shutouts including a six-save clean sheet in the semifinals to earn a spot Class D All-Tournament team. Ryley Benner also earned postseason honors.
Abby Hall led the way for Naples with five goals and two assists. Defensively, Polly Bay and the defense only allowed one goal during postseason while Grayce Hedbing made 14 saves. The Big Green trio each were named to the All-Tournament team.
Ryleigh Goodliff (Fillmore), Emalyn Mucher (Fillmore), Allie Frederickson (C.G. Finney), Rose Vitti (C. G. Finney), Ellie Harrell (Avoca-Prattsburgh), Alisha Demarest (Northstar Christian Academy), Noelle Emerson (Alfred-Almond), and Grace Ann Fox (Arkport-Canaseraga) rounded out the Class D All-Tournament team.
