Jaylah Cossin broke the scoreless tie in the 71st minute to lead Brockport to victory in the Empire 8 quarterfinals. Cossin leads the team in goals with 11. Madeline McCrosson made one save for her eighth shutout of the year.

Juliette Frischmann (Brighton) completed a second half hat trick to hoist Geneseo to a quarterfinal victory. Abby Foster gave Brockport an early 1-0 lead and added two assists on Frishmann’s tallies. Lindsey Matthews, Katelyn Dena and Casey Holstein all finished with assists. Emily McLouth made two saves for the Knights. Preslee Miller (Fillmore) made eight saves for Houghton.

After tying with Skidmore five games prior, RIT falls in the Liberty League quarterfinals to a late-game tally from the Thouroughbreds. Emily Sanchez made one save for the Tigers.

Kayla Baca (Spencerport) generated a goal and assist to lead MCC to a dramatic finish in penalty kicks. Following a scoreless first half, Baca found Sam Cipolla (Gates-Chili) for her 21st goal of the season, putting her fifth in scoring in NJCAA Division I. Baca retied the game at two, 20 minutes later. Clare Boesel (Pal-Mac) made 10 saves for MCC. The Tribunes defeated Monroe earlier in the season, 1-0. MCC advances to the East District Finals.

Annika Monfort (Webster Thomas) and Nazareth outlasted Brockport for seven rounds in the shootout to advance to the Empire 8 finals against No.2 SUNY Geneseo. Monfort finished the game with five saves for her seventh shutout of the year. Madeline McCrosson made three saves for the Golden Eagles. Brockport had defeated Nazareth earlier in the season, 5-0.

Abby Foster provided both of Geneseo’s goals to push the Knights into the Empire 8 finals. Juliette Frischmann (Brighton) picked up the assist on Foster’s first tally in the opening minutes of the second half. Lindsey Clar (Wheatland-Chili) and Lindsey Matthews added assists on Foster’s second. Emily McLouth made five saves for her first complete-game shutout of the year. Avery Byrnes made two saves for Fisher.
