Brendan Mangone went 7-for-11 in the air, totaling 58 yards and two touchdowns, as Rush-Henrietta pulled off a second-straight upset to reach the Section V Class AA final. Mangone found Imani Wagstaff twice for 26-yard and 13-yard scores. Mangone added 75 rushing yards on 14 attempts. Justin Medina picked up 111 yards on 16 carries. For UPrep, CJ Robinson Jr. had 23 carries for 122 yards and a score. Tavion Byrd completed 10 passes for 97 yards. Byrd picked up 55 yards on nine rushing attempts. Landon Nesmith hauled in a pair of passes, totaling 41 yards. Shamar Pittman added 29 receiving yards on four catches. Gavin White caught three passes for 27 yards. On defense, Taivon Wilson made 7.5 tackles and recovered a fumble. Kamari Miller added seven takedowns and forced a fumble. Cashmere Williams chipped in 5.5 tackles, including two for a loss. El-Amin Ortiz-Price made three tackles and forced a fumble, while Pittman made two tackles and recovered a fumble. Rush-Henrietta will face Aquinas.

Derrion Battle ran for 144 yards on 26 carries and found the end zone once to lead Aquinas into the Class AA final. Battle broke free for a 56-yard scoring run. Jeff Logan ran for a touchdown and had six carries for 24 yards. Trent Buttles completed two passes for 40 yards, including a 30-yard completion to Alexis Rosado. On defense, Buttles made six tackles and had two interceptions, including a 70-yard pick-six to seal the win. Lucas Leone added 13 tackles and three for a loss. Frank Burgess chipped in eight takedowns. Quante Gillians finished with five tackles. Aquinas advances to face Rush-Henrietta in the Class AA final.

The balanced offensive attack of the Batavia Blue Devils was too much for the Rochester Prep/EMHCS Tigers in the Class B Section V semi-finals. The Blue Devils won 56-6 to stay undefeated (8-0) on the season and move into the sectional final. READ MORE

Dwayne Collins hauled in a 33-yard pass from Benny Calixto on fourth down as time expired, advancing Eastridge into the Class B final. Collins accounted for three touchdowns on the day, with the other two being an 85-yard run and a 73-yard kickoff return. For Honeoye Falls-Lima, Grady Goodberlet found the end zone twice. Owen Englert added a rushing touchdown. Eastridge will face top-seeded Batavia.

No. 3 LE ROY/CALEDONIA-MUMFORD (5-4) 28
No. 2 LETCHWORTH/WARSAW/PERRY (6-2) 7
Jack Egeling blasted into the end zone three times and totaled 182 yards on 26 carries to lead Le Roy/Caledonia-Mumford. Brady McClurg followed with 62 rushing yards on eight attempts. Jude Sherman found the end zone on a four-yard run. Zach Boop picked up 28 yards on the ground. On defense, DJ O’Geen led with seven tackles, a sack and a fumble recovery. Gunnar Alquist and Trent Kessler both made four tackles. Egeling recovered a fumble and had four takedowns. Xavier Bowen added an interception and three tackles. For Letchworth/Warsaw/Perry, Caden Sumeriski scored a rushing touchdown and added 61 yards on 10 carries. Noah Leitten followed with 10 rushing attempts for 57 yards. On defense, Leitten led with 14 tackles. Zach Brown made 11 tackles. Dawson Shelley contributed 10 tackles. Sumeriski added nine takedowns. Hayden Schroeder had seven tackles and one for a loss. Jake McEntire snagged an interception and made a pair of tackles, including one for a loss. Le Roy/Caledonia-Mumford advances to face the winner of East Rochester/Gananda and Hornell/Arkport-Canaseraga.
CLASS D
No. 5 CANISTEO-GREENWOOD (3-7) 3
No. 1 AVON (10-0) 31
Kalman Dolgos scored twice on the ground and picked up 75 yards on 15 carries to lead Avon into the Section V Class D championship game. Wesley Farley had 12 rushing attempts, compiling 106 yards and a touchdown. Bobby Bridges added a 50-yard score for the River Hawks. Eli Rex returned a kick 75 yards for a touchdown. On defense, Travis Hollada led with 13 tackles. Ryan Davis added 12 tackles. Ryan Farley made 11 tackles, recovered two fumbles and had an interception. Brady Driscoll and Bridges both added eight takedowns. Bridges also recovered a fumble. Jordan Murray had a pick. For Canisteo-Greenwood, Connor McCaffrey booted a 40-yard field goal. Avon will face Alexander.

Kaden Torres found Jacob Brooks on a 21-yard touchdown pass, giving Alexander a lead it would not relinquish. Brody Heckman completed a two-yard pass to Mason Snyder for the two-point conversion. Hunter Tobolski opened the scoring for Oakfield-Alabama/Elba with a five-yard touchdown run. Ryder Reichert responded with a three-yard rush to set up the Brooks touchdown. On defense, Snyder plucked a pair of interceptions. Sean Pietrzkowski, Ryder Reichert, Mason Snyder and Kaden Torres all made four tackles. Jake Smith chipped in two tackles for a loss. Alexander advances to the Class D Final against top-seeded Avon.

Caleb Felski exploded for 328 yards on 16 carries and added four touchdowns to lead Pembroke into the Section V 8-Man final for the fourth time in the last five years. Vijay Dhanda and Caleb Kimmel also found the end zone once. On defense, Jayden Bridge and Octavius Martin each had 12 tackles. Madden Perry added nine takedowns. Felski and Dhanda both made interceptions. For Red Jacket, Aldric Smith-Fee ran for 144 yards on 24 carries, including a nine-yard touchdown run. Truman Hil made five catches for 78 yards and a touchdown. Pembroke will face Holley.
