Vincent D’Agostino scored twice, but it wasn’t enough for Kendall which was making its first state quarterfinal appearance since 1998. Trailing 2-0, D’Agostino converted on a corner kick from Pablo Rosario-Reyes with 7:04 remaining in the first half. D’Agostino netted the equalizer less than nine minutes into the second half when the junior one-timed a Jonathan Esposito cross. Noah Hatch led Allegany-Limestone with a pair of goals. Hatch started the scoring in the match’s fifth minute. Brady Straub was on the finishing end of a Carson Kwiatkowski corner kick to give the Gators a 2-0 lead. Zander Parsons delivered on a penalty kick for the eventual game winner. Hatch completed his brace in the 72nd minute when the junior connected from 36 yards out. Allegany-Limestone will play either Tully (III) or Southern Cayuga (IV) in the state semifinals.

Naples dominated in every aspect of the game. The Big Green finished with a 9-0 advantage in shots on goal and 6-1 in corner kicks. They limited Ellicottville to one set piece within their 35-yard line and that didn’t occur until the final five minutes of the game. At the same time, Naples set up for free kicks within 35 yards of their opponent’s goal on four separate occasions. READ MORE.
