Urgent Dental Care Wednesday Boys’ Soccer Wrap: Rosario-Reyes and Kendall rally to clinch spot in C2 title game; Byron-Bergen/Elba and East Rochester to meet in C1 rematch

Josh Harter scored the lone goal on a tap in header early in the first half, and Avon held on to clinch a sectional championship spot for the second time in three years. Trevor Stroud recorded the assist. The Riverhawks will face off against the Hornell Red Raiders this Saturday, November 2nd at 5 PM at Honeoye Falls-Lima High School. READ MORE.

Gabriel Rasephei scored the lone goal of the game off a cross from Cody Cardamone with under two minutes left in the match to send the Red Raiders to the Class B Finals for the fourth straight year. The Red Raiders will be looking to win a third title in four years when they face off against Avon this Saturday, November 2nd at 5 PM at Honeoye Falls Lima High School.

CLASS C1

Sean Lewis and Perry Francis connected on a goal apiece as East Rochester clinched a return to the C1 title game. Lewis struck first 14 minutes into the match with an assist from Liam Kinney Francis tacked on a second goal less four minutes after halftime. Dom Romach set up the play. The win was thee third this season for ER over Williamson. The Bombers have recorded 10 straight shutouts. East Rochester will meet Byron-Bergen/Elba in a rematch of the 2023 C1 final. A game that Byron-Bergen/Elba won before advancing to the state championship game. That contest is scheduled for 12 p.m. start, Saturday, November 2nd at Honeoye Falls-Lima High School.

NO. 2 BYRON-BERGEN/ELBA (14-3-1) 2
NO. 3 GENESEO (13-5-0)

Colin Rea and Craig DiQuattro both found the back of the net, and Byron-Bergen/Elba clinched back-to-back appearances in the C1 championship. Rea scored in the first half with an assist from Jack Farner. DiQuattro doubled the lead in the second half with help from Jadial Amaro. The win was the seventh straight for the reigning champion Bees who will meet East Rochester in a rematch of the 2023 C1 final. A 12 p.m. kickoff is scheduled Saturday, November 2nd at Honeoye Falls-Lima High School.

Pablo Rosario-Reyes capped a late rally to keep Kendall unbeaten in its past 16 games and clinch a spot for the Eagles in the C2 championship. Trailing 1-nil, Rosario-Reyes connected on the equalizer with 1:24 left in the match. The junior forward then scored the game winner two minutes into extra time. Kendall will battle Genesee Valley/Belfast in the title game on Saturday, November 2nd at 2:30 PM at Honeoye Falls Lima High School.

Genesee Valley/Belfast will battle Kendall on Saturday, November 2nd at 2:30 PM at Honeoye Falls Lima High School.
