The 2024 Section V Class AA Girls’ bracket is made up of 14 Monroe County teams and one representative of the Private-Parochial League. No. 6 Hilton’s hosting of No. 11 Gates-Chili on Wednesday, Oct. 23 marks the start of the tournament and leads off a seven-game first-round slate. The finals will be held at Rush-Henrietta on Saturday, Nov. 2.

Defending sectional champion Spencerport is seeded No. 1 after a 9-0 regular season league record that helped put the Rangers through to the quarterfinals automatically. The Rangers were Class A champions seven straight years prior to last year. No. 8 Aquinas took the Class A crown last year before moving to Class AA this season.

Spencerport had an overall record of 15-0-1. No. 2 Penfield was second in regular-season wins posting a 13-1-1 finish. No. 3 Churchville-Chili and No. 5 Greece Athena turned in 11 wins a piece.

Spencerport will host the winner of Aquinas and No. 9 Webster Schroeder in the quarterfinals. This opens the window to a rematch of last year’s finals which was a 3-0 Rangers victory over Schroder.

Penfield has won seven in a row entering the tournament. Churchville-Chili claimed its last four.
