The 2024 Section V Class AA Boys’ Soccer bracket features 15 teams: thirteen from the Monroe County league, one from the Rochester City Athletic Conference, and another as an Independent. The tournament kicks off with first-round action on Thursday, October 24th. The finals are scheduled for Tuesday, November 5th at Eastridge High School.

Churchville-Chili, the reigning Class AA champions, enter the postseason with the top seed and a first round bye. Standing at 11-3-1 on the season overall, the Saints lost two games to AA opponents, including one to the second overall seed, Penfield (9-3-2). The Patriots had been at .500 for the year after a Sept. 28 loss to AAA’s Fairport, but haven’t allowed a goal since, racking up five straight victories. Rounding out the top four are Wilson/Early College (10-4-1) and Spencerport (9-6-0). Spencerport, which lost to Churchville-Chili 3-2 in overtime in the sectional finals last season, was the Class A champion two seasons ago.

Outside of the top four, important teams to know include fifth-seed Irondequoit (8-5-2), the only other AA team to beat Churchville-Chili this season- a title this year would be the Eagles’ first since they shared it with Spencerport in 2010. Sixth-seed Aquinas (11-5-0) won last season’s NYS Class A title and is the lone independent program in the tournament. Ninth-seeded Webster Schroeder (6-6-3) enters the tournament after finishing 4-0-1 in its last five games.
