Ryan Brown (McQuaid) broke the scoreless tie on a penalty kick with under nine minutes to go to give St. John Fisher the win. Christian Burkhart (Brighton) made seven saves for the shutout, the most he’s made in a game this season. Dylan Lopez made three saves for the Golden Eagles. Russ Domm (East Rochester) and Brady Reinagel combined for six shots with three on net.

Carraig Jones (Irondequoit) netted his first of the season to tie the match and force an eventual tie with Elmira. The goal came unassisted, seven minutes after Elmira’s opening tally in the second half. Vincent Maronski made five saves between the pipes for Geneseo. The Knights outshot the Eagles 17-13.

RIT (4-7-0) 0
RIT was held scoreless for a second straight conference matchup and dropped to fourth place at 2-2, with the loss to St. Lawrence. Jason Trapp made two saves for the Tigers. RIT led in shots at game’s end, 13-9. Both teams combined for 20 fouls.

UNIVERSITY OF ROCHESTER (7-2-3) 2
Following a scoreless first half, Milos Bisenic played a role in two unanswered tallies to pull off a comeback victory for Rochester’s first conference victory of the season. Carnegie Mellon grabbed the lead a minute into the second half. EliJose Araujo tied the match on a header, stemming from a cross from Bisenic. Bisenic drilled the game winner on a free kick with just under 13 minutes remaining. Santino Lupica-Tondo made five saves for the winning team.

Spencer Neil tallied his team-leading ninth goal of the season to force a tie with Russell Sage. Drew Decker added his ninth assist on the play. Logan Menna made two saves for the Golden Flyers.

ROBERTS WESLEYAN (5-4-1) 2
Trailing by one for the majority of the match, Sebastian Guerrero (Gates-Chili) and Tamas Nagy scored within two minutes of one another to steal the win for Roberts Wesleyan. Guerrero managed his first goal of the year using a helper from Nagy. Nagy registered his eighth of the season is second in scoring for the Redhawks. Jack Hopson grabbed the assist on the game winner. Roberts’ Eric Jewson made four saves between the pipes.

JAMESTOWN CC (7-7-1) 1
Finger Lakes’ Robin Giesing and Joao Antonio Rocha combined for two unanswered in the second half to down Jamestown for its eighth straight win. Giesing tied the game with his 13th of the season. Rocha’s game-winner counted as his 11th of the season. Harry Eastwick made one save while the defense added two for FLCC.

TOMPKINS CORTLAND CC (3-8-0) 1
Four different players found the back of the net to help Genesee snap its two game losing skid. Luca Welsh led the charge with two goals. Jan Bimmler chipped in with his team-leading 12th tally of the season. Ethan Hemmings and Wesley Visser provided the other two tallies. Rufus Boardman, Eduardo Leiva and Casper Jaartsveld finished with an assist apiece. Alvaro Hermosa made eight saves for the Cougars.

Eric Jewson made five saves for Roberts Wesleyan. Tamas Nagy ripped four shots and put one on net. Saint Michael’s broke the tie with less than 19 minutes remaining in the even-paced match.

ALFRED UNIVERSITY (5-7-2) 1
Trailing 1-0 for the majority of the match, Juliuz Kemp and Gael Baraldi combined for two goals in the final 10 minutes of regulation to steal Brockport’s first win in four games. Kemp tied the game in the 81st minute. Baraldi buried the game winner with just under 30 seconds to go. Brady Reinagel added an assist on the final tally. Andrew Taylor made two saves for the Golden Eagles.

Naz connected for two second half goals to steal its third win in four games. Freshman Alfonso Vito (Aquinas) opened scoring for Geneseo with his first of the season 34 minutes in. Jake Pawlika netted his seventh of the year, unassisted, to tie the match. Pawlika currently sits second in scoring for Nazareth. Joey Weaver (Spencerport) buried the game winner on touches from the squad’s third-highest point-getter, Drew Decker. Logan Menna made six saves for the victors. Naz’s only shots on goal managed to sneak by Geneseo’s keeper, Vincent Maronski.

St. John Fisher combined for two unanswered goals in the second half to capture its third consecutive win. Jack Tamburino got Fisher on the board eight minutes into the match on touches from Joey Avallone. Tamburino currently leads the team in scoring with five goals. Riley Rease (Keshequa) gave Fisher the lead five minutes into the second half, 2-1. Adam Grover (Warsaw) picked up an assist on the play. Avallone added the insurance tally unassisted in the dying minutes of regulation. Christian Burkhart (Brighton) made four saves for the victory.

Joseph Armand and Luca Welsh bolstered Genesee’s offense with two unassisted tallies to lead the squad to victory. GCC maintained a 2-0 lead going into half and allowed a single tally with eight minutes remaining. Julius Christ made three saves in net for the win.

Robin Giesing completed a hat trick and Joao Antonio Rocha added two more to lead Finger Lakes’ offense to a ninth consecutive victory. Sergio Baron, Daniel Ojedayo and Ben Domann accounted for the other three tallies. Domann leads the team in scoring with 19 goals and is third in NJCAA III Division III. Carlos Aguiar, Carl Pontin, Domann, Rocha and Giesing all finished with an assist. Rocha leads DIII in assists, 24, and is third in total points, 48. FLCC sits third in the NJCAA III Division III standings and has the most goals scored with 103.
