Kylie Clement and Caroline Mordaci found the back of the net in the second half for the final margin of victory. Sophomore Lillian Howlett scored Rush-Henrietta’s lone goal, off an assist by senior Layla McLean. Defensively, sophomore Natalie Wood had 22 saves for the Royal Comets.

Senior Andrea Wilson led the Fairport Red Raiders with two goals- including a penalty kick score- and an assist. Few girls’ soccer programs in Section V history have done as much winning as the Spencerport Rangers over the past nine seasons. The program that holds the New York State Public High School Athletic Association (NYSPHSAA) mark with a 64-game unbeaten streak (2016-18) has currently won a Section V record eight straight sectional titles. The Rangers have claimed three state championships including the Class AA title a year ago when they finished unbeaten and untied for the first time in program history. READ MORE.

Thayer and Madeline Strain each had an assist as well. Lily Rautenstrauch made three saves in the shutout. Kennedy Gross saved 23 shots for Perry.
