Orlando Figueroa went 2-for-3 with an RBI, including a single to left field in the first inning that sent Shaun Cannon home to help Post 134 grab the early lead and not look back. Carraig Jones also scored in the first inning after a wild pitch to make it a quick 2-0 lead. Post 134 kept the 2-0 run lead until the fifth inning when Chili Post’s Alex Spezzano hit a line drive double to right field that scored Connor Emens and Carter Dunn. Tyler Cannon went 2-for-3 and scored the go-ahead run on a passed ball in the fifth. Shaun Cannon was 1-for-3. Jones finished 1-for-2 with a walk and a run scored. Evan Bishop pitched five innings for Post 134 and struck out four batters while allowing only three hits and two walks. Emens and Jamie Derleth both were 1-for-3.

Nick Olmo struck out 12 and hurled a no-hitter to lead Braman Post. Olmo, who tossed a one-hitter in his previous start, walked one and faced three over the limit. After Jack Lander reached on a one-out walk in the first, Olmo retired the next nine batters faced. He also went 2-for-3 with an RBI single in the fourth inning to bring home Jake Wiepert home for a 4-0 lead. Wiepert doubled and drove in Caleb Wilson earlier in the inning. The scoring started in the first inning for Braman Post as Wilson doubled to bring home Patrick Alpeter and put Christian Morrison to third. Morrison then scored on a passed ball. Altpeter walked, swiped second and eventually scored on another stolen base in the fourth. Brennan Pipitone scored the final run in the fifth inning after a sacrifice fly by Joey Cambell. Wilson went 2-for-3 with an RBI, and a run scored. Wiepert went 1-for-3 with an RBI and run scored. Morrison went 1-for-4 with a run scored. Altpeter went 1-for-3 with a walk and two runs scored. Pipitone went 1-for-3. Collin Bates struck out three over five innings of work for Ferris Goodridge. Jaeden Ford reached on a walk.

BRAMAN POST (7-10) 7 (f/6) GAME 2
Tino Tiermini finished with five strikeouts and five walks through six innings to lead Braman Post in the doubleheader sweep. The scoring didn’t get started until the third inning when Braman Post got the first scores on the board. The first score of the game came after an error at third allowing Brenan Pipitone to run home. Christian Morrison then scored after a single fly ball to right field by Caleb Wilson to make it 2-0. A few plays later, Isiah Stephens hit a line drive double to right field rewarding Wilson with the run home, making it a 3-0 game. Stephens was then able to steal third and home on pitching errors to give Braman Post a 4-0 lead. Braman Post pushed across three more runs in the fourth inning. Patrick Altpeter was able to steal home. A wild pitch after let Morrison score. Finally, Stephens put his fingerprints on the game once again with a groundball single to shortstop, which allowed Wilson to score the seventh run of the game. Stephens went 2-for-3 with two RBI and a run scored. Wilson went 2-for-2 with an RBI, a walk, and two runs scored. Pipitone went 2-for-4 with a run scored. Morrison went 1-for-2 with two runs scored, an RBI, and a walk. Altpeter went 1-for-1, with two walks, and a run scored. Ferris Goodridge got their first run of the game in the sixth inning off of a walk with bases loaded, sending Jack Lander home. The final run of the game came from Jaeden Ford as he was sent home by an Evan DiCataldo single. Lander went 2-for-3 with a run scored. DiCataldo went 1-for-2 with an RBI and a walk.
