Rochester Red Wings outfielder Dylan Crews will represent the team and the Washington Nationals organization at the 2024 All-Star Futures Game, playing for the National League Futures team. Fellow outfielder James Wood, recently called up from Rochester to Washington, also earned a spot, although he will be replaced on the roster.

Crews, the No. 2 pick of the 2023 draft, has hit .259 with a .286 on-base percentage and .426 slugging percentage in 12 games with the Red Wings since getting called up from AA Harrisburg on June 18. The LSU alumni has two home runs and three stolen bases. Crews is rated the No. 7 prospect in baseball according to MLB.com and the second-best Nationals prospect, behind only Wood.

Another Nationals farmhand, Brady House, will take part in a skills competition but not the game itself. A third baseman, House currently plays at AA Harrisburg and is a possible future Red Wing.

The 25th annual all-star game of prospects will be held on Saturday, July 13, at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas, as part of MLB’s All-Star Game festivities. The game will be broadcast at 4 P.M. on MLB Network.

The Red Wings continue their road series with the Buffalo Bisons on Tuesday at 6:35 P.M.
