Scoreless through four and a half innings, Christian Morrison sparked an eight-run fifth with a single that brought home the first two runs of the game. After a walk left the bases loaded, Nate VanDeVoorde followed with a bases-clearing double, running the lead to five. Nick Olmo, who went 2-for-3 on the night, tacked on two more with a double of his own. Matt Bartusek capped the outburst with a run-scoring single. Brennan Pipitone fanned six and hurled a one-hitter over six innings of work to pick up the win. Pipitone walked three and did not allow an earned run. Morrison went 2-for-3 with a walk and a run scored in the win. VanDeVoorde finished 2-3 with a walk, three RBI and two runs scored. Bartusek was 2-for-3 with a run scored. Alex Young went 2-for-3 with two runs scored. Isiah Stephens accounted for an RBI and a run scored. Jake Wiepert singled and drove in a run. Matt Riddell walked and scored the lone Meyers Ingraham run. Jake DICicco had an RBI.

IRONDEQUOIT POST 134 (7-3) 3
Nate Weber finished 2-for-4 including a two-out, bases-clearing single to cap a five-run seventh as Rayson Miller rallied to win a third straight game. Trailing 1-0, Justin Angora led the inning with a single and took advantage of an error on a Tyler Brown base hit to score. One out later, Max Blaustein brought home Brown with an RBI fielder’s choice. Paul Byrne singled, and Thomas O’Reilly loaded the bases with a two-out rap to set up Weber. Byrne struck out four in a complete-game effort. The right-hander allowed six hits and two walks without surrendering an earned run. O”Reilly was 2-4. Will Countryman added a hit. Aiden Julian drove in Orlando Figueroa with a two-out single and gave Irondequoit Post a 1-0 in the first inning. Frank Grad doubled and scored in the seventh when Post 134 tried to mount a rally with three runs. Figueroa went 1-for-3 with a walk and an RBI. Ian Fleck accounted for a run. Shaun Cannon, Tyler and Jack Kelly each had a hit.
