The coaches that make up the Finger Lakes East recently announced their All-League selections, with Penn Yan’s Brady Bouchard being named Player of the Year. The First-Team is made up by three players from Penn Yan, two from Palmyra-Macedon, a pair from Geneva, one from Waterloo, one from Wayne, one from Newark, and one from Mynderse.
Bouchard finished with a 7-0 record on the mound for the Mustangs including a pair of no-hitters. The right-hander tallied 139 strikeouts over 54.2 innings while allowing only 15 hits and registering a 0.25 ERA. On May 9th, the senior struck out 21 batters in a game against Waterloo, including notching his 400th career strikeout.
At the plate, Bouchard finished with a batting average of .472 and totaled 11 doubles, six home runs, and 17 RBI.
Over his career, the Binghamton commit turned in a 20-8 record, 425 strikeouts over 186.2 innings, an ERA of 1.16, and a total of three no-hitters.
