Nate Weber finished 2-for-5 including a walk-off double to lead Rayson Miller in its season opener. Tyler Brown singled to start the bottom of the ninth and scored from first on Weber’s drive to right field. Brown was 2-for-3 with a walk and two runs scored. Weber drove in two runs and hurled two-and-a third scoreless innings in relief to pick up the win. He struck out two and walked two. Thomas Carter started and struck out eight over six innings. Carter allowed one run on two hits and two walks. Ryan Munzinger walked and scored. Ari Goldstein was 1-for-3 with a walk. Max Blaustein accounted for an RBI. Braman Post’s Christian Morrison went 1-for-2 with a walk, RBI and run scored. Joey Campbell reached on an error and scored in the seventh to send the game to extra innings. Patrick Altpeter singled and walked. Brennan Pipitone had a triad of walks and stole a base. Caleb Wilson collected an RBI. Nick Olmo started and struck out five over five innings of work.

Nolan Gamble’s complete six-inning 12-strikeout game lifted Meyers-Ingraham to its first win. Gamble allowed one run on five hits and three walks. He fanned the last two batters of the game with runners in scoring position. Tre Walker went 2-for-3 including a go-ahead two-out, two-run single in the top of the sixth. Walker also stole a base. Jake DiCiccio and Drew Rosa both singled and scored on Walker’s base hit. Chili Post’s Carter Dunn singled, drove in a run and walked twice. Bobby Rule doubled and scored. Jamie Derleth was 1-for-2 with a walk.

MEYERS-INGRAHAM (2-3) 10 GAME 2
Owen Zimmer went 2-for-4 with three RBI and two runs scored as Meyers-Ingraham swept the doubleheader. Zimmer drove in a run with a single and later scored on an error in the first when Meyers-Ingraham jumped out to a lead it did not surrender at 4-0. Matt Riddell finished 2-for-3 including a two-run single in the second to make it a 6-3 game. Riddell also scored a run in the win. Tre Walker drove in two with a single in the first and later worked a base on balls. Walker stole a base and scored three runs in the win. Drew Rosa walked twice and crossed home three times. Michael Calogero struck out three in a complete-game effort to pick up the win. AJ LaLoggia singled, walked and scored a run. Patrick Emling doubled and drove in a run. Chili Post’s Bobby Rule finished 3-for-4 and scored once while driving in another. Alex Spezzano went 2-for-3 with an RBI and two runs scored. Lucas Karelus was 3-for-4 with three RBI. Carter Dunn had two walks and Marcus Roney had two singles and scored once. AJ Ceretto drove in a run. Nico Arena finished with a single and a run.

Anthony Indiano finished 2-for-4 including a run-scoring single to cap a five-run third to give Chili Post a lead it did not surrender. Alex Spezzano and Bobby Rule followed a Tucker Case leadoff walk with back-to-back singles as Chili put the first six batters of the inning on base. Jamie Derleth and Jaylen Lopez worked a walk apiece for the first two scores. Marcus Roney’s RBI single drove in Rule, and Carter Dunn drew another walk to set up Indiano to make it a 5-0 game. Dunn threw a complete game with four fanned while allowing two earned runs for the win. Rule was 2-for-4 with a triple. Roney had two singles. Spezzano, Derleth, Lopez and Case had a walk apiece. Rayson Miller’s Owen Osborne went 3-for-4 with a double, two RBI and a run scored. Justin Angora got Rayson Miller on the scoreboard in the sixth when he brought home Osborne with an RBI groundout. Angora went 1-for-3 in the game. Ryan Munzinger doubled and scored. Jack Edelstein walked and scored. Nate Weber, Thomas O’Reilly and Tyler Brown had a single apiece.

Nate Weber finished 2-for-4 with an RBI and run scored to go with a complete game pitched to lead Rayson Miller. Weber struck out five without conceding an earned run. He brought in Owen Osborne with a fifth-inning triple to make it a 2-0 game. Osborne registered a walk and two scores in the win. Ryan Munzinger immediately followed Weber’s three-bagger with one of his own. In the first, Kyle VanAuker also tripled before scoring on a passed ball and staked Rayson Miller to a 1-0 lead. Justin Angora went 2-for-3 and also stole a base. Thomas O’Reilly singled, walked twice and stole a pair of bases. Chili Post’s Tucker Case had an RBI. Jamie Derleth tripled while Anthony Indiano, Marcus Roney and Josh Miner tallied a single apiece. Indiano’s and Roney’s hits translated into runs.
FERRIS GOODRIDGE (0-3) 2
GREECE POST (6-1) 6 GAME 1
Weston Elkovitch finished 3-for-3 including a leadoff single that sparked a four-run second as Greece Post snagged the first leg of a doubleheader. After Ferris Goodridge scored the game’s first two runs, Elkovtich was the first of four straight to reach base to start the inning. Brandon Reina tied the game with a single, and Andrew Lenhard provided the go-ahead runs with a base hit that brought home Reina and Kaleb Juliano for a 4-2 lead. Elkovitch finished with three stolen bases and two runs scored. Reina drove in three. Juliano also doubled in the fourth before tallying another run. Brody Froman recorded a single and a steal. Trenton Muck struck out three and picked up the win over 5.1 innings. Liam Eshelman fanned one over 1.2 no-hit innings of relief. Ferris Goodridge’s Jaeden Ford went 2-for-3 with a double and Braxton Mann added a single.

GREECE POST (7-1) 8 GAME 2
Five runs in the first frame set the tone in Greece Post’s sixth straight victory. Derrick Allen was 2-for-2 with two RBI, two walks, a stolen base and a run and Brady Gerig hit 2-for-3 with a walk, two stolen bases and three runs scored. In thefirst, Weston Elkovitch’s two-run single scored Gerig and Allen. Elkovitch and Broadnax tacked on two more on an error later in the inning. Elkovitch had a pair of bases stolen in the game. The error came on a Brandon Reina line drive that saw him reach second and later Parker Zeiser grounded out which allowed Reina to score. Allen connected on a two-run double in the fourth and brought in Gerig and Joey Sanna, who hit a single. Broadnax’s groundout in the sixth drove Gerig across for the last run. Kaleb Juliano went 2-for-2 and also stole a base. Drew Wilson threw five innings and allowed only two earned runs while adding a trio of strikeouts. Liam Eshelman finished out the contest with an a scoreless inning. Ferris-Goodridge’s Jaeden Ford connected on a two-out two-run double. Parker Drees singled and scored. Rowan Boyzuck added a single.
