Due to weather conditions, several changes have been made to Saturday’s originally scheduled Section V Baseball Championships:
- The Class AA championship, originally scheduled for a 1 p.m. start Saturday at Innovative Field was postponed. The game will now be played Sunday, May 26 at Innovative Field with the first pitch scheduled for 11 a.m. The top-seeded Victor Blue Devils will take on the No. 3 seed Greece Athena Trojans for the title. - The Class C1 championship, originally scheduled for a 4 p.m. start Saturday at Innovative Field was postponed. The game will now be played Sunday, May 26 at Wayland-Cohocton High School with the first pitch scheduled for 1 p.m. The fifth-seeded Letchworth Legends will face the No. 15 seed Avon Braves for the championship. - The Class C2 championship, originally scheduled for a 4 p.m. start Saturday at Hornell High School was postponed. The game will now be played Sunday, May, 26 at Hornell High School with the first pitch scheduled for 3:30 p.m. The top-seeded Bolivar-Richburg Wolverines will battle the No. 3 seed Geneseo Blue Devils for the crown. - The Class D championship which began at 1 p.m. Saturday at Hornell High School was suspended. The game will be resumed Sunday, May 26 at Hornell High School with the first pitch scheduled for 1 p.m. When the game resumes No. 2 seed Arkport-Canaseraga will be ahead 3-1 over No. 1 seed Genesee Valley-Belfast.
