Terence Thompson led Franklin to a 13-6 regular season record while grabbing the third seed in Class AAA. DaiQuon McKinney and Monroe ended the regular season at 14-6 and the No. 4 seed in Class A. The two seniors were named Player of the Year for their respective divisions as announced by the Rochester City Athletic Conference (RCAC) coaches.
Thompson helped Franklin win five of its first seven games and a 9-4 mark to start the season. The 6-foot-7 forward averaged 23.0 points, 14.0 rebounds, four assists and five blocks per game on the season. His best game came against Wilson when he posted a 23-point, 22-rebound, 12-block and 10-assist quadruple-double. He also scored 32 points and grabbed 23 rebounds against Section VI Class AA champion, Jamestown. Thompson ended his career with 1,021 points and 843 rebounds.
Teammate Shawn Goins joined Thompson on the Division I RCAC League First Team. Micah Johnson-Breedlove (East), Jaiyden Jones (McQuaid), Davijon Lipscomb (Edison) and DaSiah White (Wilson) all grabbed First Team honors as well.
Joe Jackson from Franklin earned RCAC Division I Coach of the Year.

McKinney led Monroe as the Redjackets opened the season with five straight wins and a spot as No. 5 in the NYSSWA Class A poll. The senior guard averaged 13.3 points per game during the season and scored in double figures 18 out of 23 games. He poured in a season-high 25 points in a win over McQuaid and had a 23-point performance in an overtime loss to eventual Class AA champion, UPrep.
Will McKinney joined his brother on the Division II RCAC First Team. Jaedon Adams-Griffin (WOI), Sam Howland (SOTA), Kanaz Linder (Northeast) and Michael Stroughter (Early College) also were named to the First Team.
Matt McCormick from Monroe earned RCAC Division II Coach of the Year.
