Four Warriors posted multi-hit games as Webster Schroder scored in each of the first five innings to open the season with a win. Justin Maier finished a home run shy of the cycle, posting three hits while driving in two and scoring twice. Aiden Julian went a perfect 4-for-4 at the dish with two RBI and three runs. Matt Riddell and Jack Kelly recorded matching 2-for-4 lines with one run and one RBI apiece. Anthony Liberti, Dylan Dumont and Parker Holden scattered eight hits on the mound giving up 2 earned runs while combining for 11 strikeouts and surrendering zero walks. Dumont recorded seven of the 11 strikeouts in his three innings of work. Jack Simpson and Parker Holden each drove in two and added one hit while Tyler Cannon added an RBI single and two runs. Zack Haight led Irondequoit with three hits while Colby Mroczek and Alex McLaughlin tallied two hits each.

Kyle Milburn posted a 3-for-5 day at the plate with a double, four runs and two RBI to lead Spencerport. Frank Grad IV added a 3-for-5 outing with a run and three RBI while Lorenzo Tantalo went 3-for-4 with a run and two RBI. Zach Lamberton drove in three runs with a pair of hits including a double and Nick Freville added a pair of hits and a run. Bailey Zambuto, Josh Winter and Noah Barravecchia all added one hit apiece for the Rangers. Shaun Cannon struck out six over four innings allowing two runs and three hits to earn the win on the mound. Braxton Mann picked up the save with three scoreless innings.

Brighton scored two in the seventh to cap off its comeback effort. The Bruins recorded three hits in the game but walked seven times to create traffic on the basepaths. The tying and winning runs both came in on wild pitches. John Ahrens recorded two of Brighton’s three hits including a triple, three runs and an RBI. Nathan Bondi had the lone other hit for the Bruins and scored. Grady Hopkin picked up the win on the mound with three innings of relief allowing two runs on three hits and two walks with a pair of strikeouts. Noah Wagner came in to score twice while Wesley Sturrup, Garrett Zielinski, and Nolan Bonnell each scored once.

Aidan Kress drove in three runs with three hits and scored twice to power Pittsford Sutherland. The Knights led 5-4 after three and maintained the slim edge for most of the game before exploding for five runs in the seventh to put the game away. Ryan Munzinger went 2-for-4 with a run and two RBI. Sam Renica and Drew Ricketts each added a pair of hits with two runs and an RBI. Maxwell Vorrasi added a hit, a run and an RBI. Tyler Brown also recorded a single for Sutherland. Tyler Allen nearly went the distance allowing four hits and two earned runs (four runs) across 6.2 innings with a pair of strikeouts.

Tyler Estelle delivered a walk-off two-run single to win it for Webster Thomas in the opening round of the Webster Classic. Estelle finished the game 2-for-3 including the winner which came with two outs and two strikes. Batavia struck first in the first on an Evan Alexander RBI single and eventually took a 2-0 edge. The Titans got one back in the third on an RBI triple from Shane Talbot. The score held there until Estelle won it in the seventh. Kory Fiordeliso and Drew Rosa both added a hit for Thomas. Joey Presutti pitched five innings allowing four hits with six strikeouts and two unearned runs while Jacob DiCicco pitched two scoreless innings in relief and picked up the win. Bronx Buchholz surrendered two hits across six shutout innings while striking out seven for Batavia. Cole Grazioplene, Jameson Motyka, Maggio Buchholz, Ryan Fazio along with Alexander recorded the five hits in the game for the Blue Devils.

McQuaid’s comeback fell short as they were unable to rally from an early six-run deficit. The Jesuit Knights trailed 6-0 in the third before the offense got going. Thomas Bailey and Conor Forkey tallied back-to-back RBI triples followed by an RBI single from Ian Fleck to cut the deficit in half. McQuaid trailed 9-5 entering the bottom of the seventh before Paul Rizzo delivered a two-run triple. Pierce Meck followed with an RBI single. The tying run stood at second with no outs in the inning but the Jesuit Knights couldn’t cash in with the game ending on a caught stealing. John Wilmarth added a hit and a run while Dan Luce went 2-for-2 with a run scored. Bailey and Rizzo each finished with two RBI for McQuaid.

Landon Wollschleger led the way with a pair of doubles and five RBI for East Rochester. Jack McCarthy picked up his first win of the season on the mound with six strikeouts in three innings. Donelle Saxton followed with four strikeouts over two innings of relief for the Bombers. Noah Wollschleger went 1-for-2 with a pair of RBI and Tyler Leisten added an RBI double.

Tommy Stewart and Cedan Cavo recorded one hit each for Livonia. Raceland moves to 13-0.
