Jeffrey Fisher threw five one-hit innings and struck out three, as Gates Chili exploded for five runs in the first two innings. After Peter Dellefave soaked up a lead-off hit-by-pitch, Cole Gorman moved him to third base with a single. Andrew McManus then drove Dellefave home with a fielder’s choice. Gavin Sweeney roped a two-out double to drive in McManus, then was driven in by Jordan Hoock to round out the scoring. In the next frame, both Nicolas DiFrancesca and Jaylen Givens trotted home to make the score 5-0. Givens and DiFrancesca both went 1-for-2 with a run scored. Hoock tallied an RBI and finished 1-for-2. Sweeney struck out four of the seven batters he faced in the final two innings. For Greece Olympia/Odyssey, Zach Gagner smoked a two-bagger for the lone hit and went 1-for-2.

Henry Shutts hurled six innings, allowing two runs (one earned) on three hits while fanning 10 to lift Gananda. The Blue Panthers tallied four runs in the fourth for all the offense they needed. In the inning, Shutts led off with a single and then came around to score on an RBI single from Jack Frick. Frick and Jackson Giancursio both scored in the following at-bat. Switzer then trotted home on a passed ball to round out the scoring. Shutts finished 1-for-2 with a walk and a run scored. Switzer tallied two RBI. Jack Frick finished with an RBI single and a run scored. Maddox Stoughton roped a double in the fifth. For East Rochester, Tyler Leisten brought home Landon Wollschleger with a single in the bottom of the fourth. Leisten paced the Bomber offense by going 2-for-3 and added a double. Jason Hernandez also went 2-for-3. Noah Wollschleger and Jack McCarthy both walked and trotted home once.

Eric Jones cracked a pair of two-baggers and went 2-for-3 to lead East in the season opener. In the fifth, Jones smacked a two-RBI double, part of a nine-run inning for the Eagles. Carlos Gaston finished 1-for-2 and trotted home twice. Freitty Garcia Jr. went 1-for-2 and drove in a run alongside scoring in the fifth. Kyle Markham, Miguel Matos and Wildier Rodriguez all singled and drove in a run for East. Matos also hurled 2.2 innings and whiffed five to earn the win in relief. Romeo Gaines tallied an RBI. Mitchell Nieves scored a run. For Edison, Junior Javier drove in two runs. Miguel Vargas tallied a hit and a walk in his two plate appearances. Vargas also came around to score in the fourth. Jose Alvarez had a single and scored in the second.

Ben Cater hurled four innings and struck out eight to lead Genesee Valley/Belfast. Matt Cater, Owen Heaney, Evan Turybury and Ian Mackenzie each tallied two hits in the win.

Zane Gleason connected on a walk-off two-run base hit in the bottom of the seventh to lift Allegany-Limestone. Damon Potter went 5.1 innings, allowing no runs on one hit and striking out seven for Fillmore. James Hillman paced the Eagle offense, finishing 3-for-3 with an RBI. Jude Beardsley drove in two runs.

Michael Sardou went 2-for-3 with three runs driven in and trotted home once, powering the Saints on the road. In the first inning, Sardou roped a double that drove in Braedon Reina. Sardou later drove in two with a single in the second. Jamie Derleth went a perfect 4-for-4 and drove in two while scoring once. Bobby Rule roped a pair of two-baggers and went 3-for-3, driving in two and trotting home three times. Josh Miner ripped a single and a double in two at-bats, as well as scoring two runs. Evan Putney and Parker Farnham both had a two-bagger. Reina scored twice. Drew Stewart went three innings for Churchville-Chili, whiffing three while allowing two runs (one unearned). For Greece Arcadia, Colin Anderson went 2-for-3. Blake DeForest and Jack Pilgrim both drove in a run. Pilgrim tallied an RBI single in the first, while DeForest drove one in with a base hit in the third.
