The tale of the tape between No. 1 seed Lyons and No. 3 seed Pembroke is nearly identical. Both teams won a sectional title in 2023. Current streak: Lyons has won its last 10 games, touting an average margin of victory of 19.2 points per game over that span. Pembroke has won 12 of its last 13 games, including nine straight.
How they arrived here: After having a bye in the first round, Lyons advanced past No. 9 seed Bloomfield in the quarterfinals thanks to a 76-42 victory. Its spot in the C1 championship was clinched after a 71-53 semi-final win over fourth-seeded Gananda. Pembroke also received a bye in the first round and won its quarterfinal game against No. 6 seed Warsaw 69-52. A 54-36 win over No. 2 seed East Rochester in the semi-finals was what earned the Dragons a place in the title game.

History 101: Pembroke is looking to win its second sectional title in a row after claiming its first title in program history in the 2023 C2 bracket. Lyons is attempting to win its 22nd sectional title and fifth since 2017.
