The 2024 Section V Class AA Girls’ Basketball bracket consists of seven teams from Monroe County Division I, six squads from Monroe County Division II, one from Rochester City Athletic Conference and one from the Private-Parochial League. First-round action gets underway on Tuesday and the finalists clash on March 2.
Top-seeded Victor enters the postseason on a 10-game win streak and is unbeaten at home. The reigning NYS Class AA champion, Webster Schroeder, opens up the sectional tournament as the five-seed and has won three of its last five games. The Hilton Cadets are winners of eight of their last nine and split the season series with Victor. Number three-seed Pittsford Mendon has captured six of the last seven Section V Class A titles.
