The 2024 Section V Class C2 Boys’ bracket features four Genesee Region teams, four Livingston County teams, three teams from the Finger Lakes West, two Allegany County squads, and one team each from Wayne County and the Private-Parochial League. The action starts with first-round tilts on February 21st, with the two remaining teams set to square off at the Blue Cross Arena on March 2nd.
No. 4 seed York enters post-season play looking to capture its second sectional title in the past three years. Two Genesee Region schools hold the bracket’s top seeds, with No. 1 seed Byron-Bergen and No. 2 seed Alexander both finishing the year 16-4. Byron-Bergen took down Alexander 57-54 back in January in a game that ended up being the decider in seeding.
