The 2024 Section V Class AA Boys’ Basketball bracket features four teams from Monroe County Division I, six squads from Monroe County Division II, five from Monroe County Division III and one from Rochester City Athletic Conference. First-round matchups begin on Wednesday and the finalists duel on March 1.
Top-seeded Greece Athena enters the postseason undefeated. The Trojans made an appearance in last year’s Class A sectional final. The reigning A1 champion, Irondequoit, matches up against Spencerport in the first round. Number two-seeded Hilton is the winner in four out of its last five games. Canandaigua is riding a five-game win streak and comes in as the number three seed. Victor, the No. 7 seed, is the reigning NYS AA champion. Here’s the breakdown:
