The 2024 Section V Class A Boys’ Basketball bracket features four teams from Finger Lakes East, four squads from Monroe County Division IV, three from Private Parochial, four from Rochester City Athletic Conference and one team from Monroe County Division II. First-round action gets underway on Tuesday and the championship is slated for March 1.
Top-seeded East enters having won five of its last six. The Eagles were the two-seed in last year’s A2 tournament and appeared in the final. Reigning A2 champion Pittsford Sutherland is the three-seed and has won five of the last six. Wayne is undefeated at home and is riding a 15-game win streak. Here’s the breakdown:
