West Herr Saturday Girls’ Basketball Wrap: Pucci steers Fairport with career-high; Perry’s Morris and Koronas double-double-up to parry Mount Morris

Petra Hunt led both offenses with 20 points and Eden Lewis constructed a double-double to hoist Pittsford Sutherland over Spencerport for the second time this season. Lewis finished the game with 17 points and 12 rebounds.

OUR LADY OF MERCY (6-13) 39
Lola Pucci scored a career-high 15 points to lead Fairport over Mercy and snap its losing skid at five games. The junior point guard finished with six assists, four steals and went 10-for-13 from the free throw line. Livea Amadori and Amiya Johnson both registered nine points in the win. Mia Lusardi led Mercy with 11 points.

Leading by nine at halftime, Molly O’Toole started the third-quarter offense with a triple from the top of the key. Two possessions later, Loren Green hit her first of back-to-back long-range shots. Jaelyn Morris and Nellie Koronas bolstered Perry with two double-doubles as the squad snagged its third win in four games. Morris led the way with 33 points and 12 steals. Koronas tallied 17 points and hauled in 12 rebounds. Leading 22-21, the Lady Yellowjackets held Mount Morris to nine points in the second half.
