Avery Council tallied 19 points, including 14 in the fourth quarter, as Rush-Henrietta pulled away late. The Royal Comets outscored Gates Chili 24-11 in the final frame. Council added six rebounds, six assists and six steals. Jalen Taggart buried three triples and scored 14 points while Graylin Strong connected on two three-pointers and scored 10. Jahquin Brown chipped in with eight points while Amir Abdul-Haq added seven points, six rebounds and three blocks. Kobey Weeks (3), Isaiah Gulley (2) and Myles Collins-Howard (2) also scored for the Royal Comets. Joey Vigerzi led Gates Chili scoring 20 points including five three-pointers. Derrik Davis scored nine points while Jaden Robinson tallied six. Tremier Lewis and DarQuinn Johnson each recorded five points while Justin Sears pitched in four for the Spartans.

Levi Kulik hit two threes and scored 18 points and Webster Thomas won for the second time in three games. Kulik scored seven points in the decisive third quarter which the Titans won 18-11. Sean Quinn chipped 15 points and three triples while Joey Baller scored seven. Boston DeWitte (4), Craig McEneany (3), Chase Fitch (2), Joey Presutti (2) and Billy Quinn (2) rounded out Thomas’ scoring efforts. Quinn VanKerkhove led Irondequoit’s efforts with 16 points, including 14 in the second half. Isaiah Ballard chipped in 10 points while Goti Bandas tallied eight. Nikki Yudin (6), Chase Leonardo (3) and Josh Morse (2) also scored for the Eagles.

Michael Bischoping scored 10 of his game-high 32 points in the third quarter when Mendon pulled away from a five-point game. Leading 40-35, Bischoping connected twice from behind the 3-point arc and converted a pair of free throws in the third when the Vikings used a 16-6 advantage to take a 15-point lead. Caden Rathnam added 13 in the win while Amari Coleman and Daniel Hurley scored 10 apiece. Ryan Connolly (6) and Brandon Trott (4) also scored for Mendon. Olympia’s Caiden Evans finished with 20 points on the night. Terry Griffin, Jr. added 18. Amare Edwards scored nine. Noah Tackley (4), William Brown-Nelson (4), Pah Yu (3), Ezequiel O’Farril (3) and Connor Welker (2) also scored for Olympia.

Wyatt Huff led Honeoye Falls-Lima with 15 points and Quinn Kailbourne recorded 13 points. Austyn Crego and Drew Angelo each posted eight points. Nate Brinza posted a game-high 17 points to power Canandaigua to its fourth win in the last five. Nate Barone was close behind with 16 points for the Gray Wolves who won all four quarters. George Spinelli also cracked double digits with 12 points while Connor Chapman scored eight. Isaac Parsons and Drew Williamee each scored five points and Joe Caito added a basket in the win. Batavia was led by 13 points from Carter Mullen and 12 from Justin Smith while Casey Mazur scored nine. Estavon Lovett (5), Brady Mazur (4), Joey Marranco (3) and Aiden Bellavia (1) rounded out the Blue Devils scoring.

Trever Hofer broke the Penfield single-game record with 40 points including six three-pointers to power Penfield to its third straight win and ninth in their last 10 games. Michael Moxley and Christian Zarzycki each connected three times from distance and tallied 13 and 10 points respectively. Patrick Emling also scored 10 for the Patriots while Jake McCarthy added nine points. Jacob Natale and Kelsey McGraw each added a bucket for Penfield. Kyle Milburn led Spencerport with 18 points while Hunter Streb recorded 17. Cam Kuhns (7), Tony Kanaley (6), Angel Nunez (5), Eric Schuyler (4) and Aiden Grinnell (3) scored the rest of the Rangers’ points.

Dylan Washburn accounted for six points in the third quarter when the Bulldogs used a 20-4 advantage to pull away from a one-point game. Owen Cuba grabbed 10 rebounds and scored seven of his eight points in the decisive third. Braiden Schneider finished with 11 points and five rebounds in the win. Owen Reynolds (7), Evan Anselm (5) and Billy Covey (5) rounded out the scoring for Honeoye. HAC’s Ryan D’Arduini connected on a pair of 3-pointers and scored eight of his game-high 18 points in the second quarter as the Wolves pulled within one point at 36-35 heading into halftime. D’Arduini also had five steals and four assists in the game. Harlan Novy-Marx added 13 points and eight rebounds. Orlando Marquez had 15 points while Ari Hagelberg (4) and James Michael (1) rounded out the scoring. HAC played without starters James Dorsey and Tyler Knapp who missed the game due to illnesses.

A year ago, JC Walker led Lyons into the New York State Class C Far West Regional. Quick off the dribble, the 6-foot-4 then-senior swing man was comfortable making decisions in transition. He could break down a defense off the bounce and get into the lane where he finished with either hand or distributed to an open teammate when opposing defenses collapsed to take away his lane to the basket. Warsaw used a 6-0 run to send the game to overtime and then scored the first eight points of the extra session. Quinton Librock led the Tigers with 27 points while Bailey Schell had 19 and Patrick Klump 11 in the win. David Shute (8), Jeremy Trzecieski (2) and Ty Joy (2) also scored for Warsaw. Klump missed an off-balance jumper at the end of regulation. Geneseo’s Jackson Willis finished with a game-high 33 points. Kellen O’Brien added 13. Oren Ray (8), Caleb Rice (6), Avery Hepler (3) and Owen McDonald (3) also scored for Geneseo.
“I’m very proud of the kids tonight,” said Warsaw head coach Travis Fenstermaker. “Any night you can get a win in the LCAA Division 2, we’ll take it, especially on the road. We had some kids come off the bench tonight and give us some good minutes. Quinton made two foul shots with 7.6 seconds left to tie it and send it to overtime and then we had a great start to the OT and held them off. Good win for us heading into February.”

The junior guard also had six rebounds and five assists. Harter had 20 points and seven assists. Michael Rowland scored 13 points to become the all-time leading scorer in Avon program history. The senior also grabbed seven rebounds. Jake Pangrazio led York with 16 points. Tyler Brady had 14. Connor Rodwell scored all 11 of his points in the second half. Parker Bonafede (10) and Joe Bauer (8) also scored for the Golden Knights.

Ian Hinrich led Keshequa with 14 points and 10 rebounds while Aiden Upright added 10 points and 8 rebounds. Zach Smathers chipped in nine points. Owen Pike scored eight points. Rounded out the scoring for Keshequ was Dom Pruonto (3), Nolan Therrien (2) and Brady Wood (2).
