Tuesday Girls’ Basketball Wrap: Schneider, Coniber notch double-doubles for Pembroke; Schroeder’s Watkins pours in 29 in rivalry win

Bria Watkins scored 29 points, making 12 shots from the floor and a pair from three-point range, as Webster Schroeder bested its crosstown rival. Wakins also grabbed eight rebounds, blocked four shots and had a pair of steals. Ava Gallup scored eight points, making two free throws and three baskets. Gallup tallied four rebounds, two helpers and a steal. Sarah Ferruzza scored five points in the second half and grabbed four boards alongside three helpers. Addie Morgan dished out a pair of assists, two rebounds and chipped in four points. Jenna DiMarco knocked down a three-pointer. For Webster Thomas, Kristina Baller led with 15 points. Baller converted four shots from beyond the arc and went 3-for-3 at the charity stripe. Ruby Marrapese tallied 11 points in the first half, making three of four baskets from inside the arc and a pair of free throws. Olivia Bommelje added nine points for the Titans. Maggie Smith scored eight points, knocking down three baskets and a pair from the line.

CANANDAIGUA (7-5) 58

Kyleigh Chapman tallied 18 points, making eight shots inside the arc and a pair from the line to lead Canandaigua. Eily Hubler followed with 11 points, making four shots from the floor and a pair from beyond the arc. Macy Falk scored eight points on four baskets. Leah Sheridan added seven points. Macy Bacon and Julia Geitner both netted a pair of three-pointers. For Hilton, Mallory Heise scored a game-high 20 points. Heise made five shots from the floor, including a pair from three-point range and went 6-for-6 at the line. Ella Clark followed with 12 points and made four baskets and two free throws. Ella Simonelli made five shots inside the arc for 10 points. Madison Murphy chipped in seven points.

PENFIELD (7-5) 49
FAIRPORT (3-8) 38

Cassidy Cone scored 15 points, as Penfield went on a 10-0 run to close the first half and took a lead it would not relinquish. Mary Bernat, Lena Lipani and Emma Alexander all added 10 points for the Patriots. For Fairport, Liv Amadori led with eight points.

VICTOR (11-1) 49

Rhylin Fehrenbach recorded a double-double, scoring 24 points while grabbing 10 rebounds to lead Victor. Devin Livingston added seven points for the Blue Devils. For Brighton, Sadie Scott tallied eight points.

Leora Cook, Payton Hamilton, Petra Hunt and Eden Lewis each scored in double figures to lead Sutherland. The Knights have won six straight and have held eight opponents under 50 points this season.

Shaye Angelo poured in a career-high 30 points to lead Honeoye Falls-Lima. Angelo converted six shots from three-point range and dished out five assists. Caroline Smith added 17 points. Paige Kidd grabbed 14 boards and scored seven points. For Gates-Chili, Malice Gaye led with 11 points.

Loren Green tallied 20 points, leading Aquinas to a fourth-straight win. Molly O’Toole followed with 17 points. AJ Orr added 14 points for the Lil’ Irish. Carlee Thomas scored nine points. Jade Harvey chipped in eight points. Lia Bronco had six points. Samiyha Wright added four points and Julianna Nkugwa had three points. For Eastridge, Aalivya Green tallied 19 points. Ada Krupp followed with 14 points.

Klarissa Goode dropped 23 points, six steals and eight assists, leading Bishop Kearney. Goode converted eight shots from the floor, including six from beyond the arc. Asia Wilson followed with 21 points, making six of her eight shots from inside the arc. Wilson also added eight takeaways and eight rebounds. Allie Hall recorded a double-double scoring 11 points with 15 rebounds. Hall made five shots from the floor and a free throw. Adriana Kennedy added 10 points and seven rebounds. Riley Bordeau netted a pair from three-point range and tallied eight points. For East, Semaj Jackson led with 21 points. Jackson made eight shots inside the arc and four free throws. Gabriella Brown-Sturdivant scored 12 points, going 8-for-8 at the line. Ali’Yana Robinson and Nevaeh Grisham both scored five points. Ayasha Cherry-Fayton chipped in four points.

Chloe Scott made nine shots from the floor, totaling 18 points for South Seneca. Scott scored eight points in both the first and third quarters. Kenzie Snyder scored eight of her 12 points in the final frame and made six shots inside the arc. Ava Utter and Karah Hill both tallied eight points with four baskets. Anna Dufour added six points. Haley Parry made two shots from the floor and had five points. Kayleigh Banfield chipped in four points. For Red Jacket, McKenna Rush led with 14 points. Rush made six shots inside the arc and a pair of free throws. Leah Batterson followed with seven points and knocked down three shots, including one from beyond the arc. Brooklyn Vienna chipped in five points in the first frame.

Calla McCombs notched a double-double, pouring in 21 points to go with 20 rebounds for Bloomfield. McCombs went 7-for-11 inside the arc and 7-for-7 at the charity stripe. Lily Baughman scored a game-high 22 points, making nine shots from the floor, including four from beyond the arc. Baughman also added five rebounds, four assists and three steals. Annie Dodge went 7-for-10 from the floor, including 5-for-6 from three-point range for 21 points. Dodge also added six helpers and six steals. Syd Falsone scored seven points and dished out five assists with four steals. Ashlyn Wright had six points and seven rebounds. Sadie Kachmaryk grabbed three rebounds.

Sofia Falleti tallied 17 points, six blocks and three steals to lead the scoresheet for Notre Dame Batavia. Emma Sisson followed with 15 points, 11 boards and three steals for a double-double. Gianna Falleti chipped in eight points, five rebounds and three takeaways.

Merideth Holland notched a double-double, scoring 18 points alongside 15 rebounds to lead York. Holland also added seven steals. Isabel Laney dropped 18 points, five steals, four rebounds and four helpers. Tessa Rodwell chipped in 15 points and six steals. Fiona Grant added seven points and six boards. For Mount Morris, Angelica Caceres Pou scored five points.

Caitlin Ryan recorded a double-double, tallying 13 points and 10 rebounds as Oakfield-Alabama edged out a defensive battle. Ryan also added a pair of rejections. Alea Groff followed with eight points and six steals. Piper Hyde added five points, four takeaways, three assists and three rebounds. Alexa Clark had four boards and four points. Rylee Denny, Jess Sosnowski and Allie Williams all scored three points. Williams added a pair of helpers.

Regan Schneider and Morgan Coniber both notched double-doubles, leading Pembroke to its second win in three contests. Schneider poured in 18 points and 13 rebounds, while Coniber added 10 points and 10 rebounds. Schneider converted seven shots inside the arc and went 4-for-6 at the charity stripe. Coniber netted three buckets, including a pair from three-point range and two free throws. Peyton Liss made four of her five baskets inside the arc and added a charity stripe conversion for 12 points. Liss also added three assists and three boards. Jayden Hootman scored 11 points, including two jumpers from beyond the arc. Hootman made seven steals and four rebounds. Elle Peterson had three points. Onolee Easterbrook added eight takeaways. For Lyndonville, Addison Dillenbeck scored a game-high 2 points. Dillenbeck connected 11 times from the floor, including three times from beyond the arc and went 3-for-4 at the line. Ashlee Stephens followed with 13 points, making four shots inside the arc and five charity stripe conversions. Jocelyn Mack chipped in four points.
