Michael Stroughter paced Early College with 20 points in a game that saw Early College outscore North Rose-Wolcott in three of four quarters. After only scoring two points in the first quarter, Straughter knocked down four three-pointers over the course of the next three quarters to help get to his final tally of 20. Antrel Jackson chipped in 18 points, scoring at least three points in each quarter. Josh Jefferson had eight points. Other scorers for Early College were Jahmeik Donald (4), and Josue Oquendo (3). Axton Paul’s 20 points led North Rose-Wolcott. Cody Crane added seven. Other scorers for North Rose-Wolcott were Logan Caves (6), Evan DeWispeleare (5), and Tommy Mills (1).

Trevor Stroud scored 24 points and brought down five rebounds in Avon’s sixth game this season holding opponents under 50 points. Leading 9-7 after the first quarter, Avon outscored Cal-Mum 39-20 over the next two quarters to break the game open. Josh Harter added 15 points, 13 assists, and six rebounds. Donny Peet led Cal-Mum in scoring with 12 points. Nate Doll tallied 11 points.

Kellen O’Brien scored 18 of his 25 points in the second half and went 4-of-4 from the free throw line in the fourth quarter to help Geneseo notch its fifth win in six games. The senior guard had a 12-point third quarter and seven steals in the game. Jackson Willis had 14 points to go with nine rebounds. Oren Ray made five assists and scored nine points. Reece Byrnes scored six points and hauled in 10 rebounds. Other scorers for Geneseo were Luke Davis (8), and Avery Hepler (2). Anthony Hightower led Mount Morris with a statline of 23 points, six rebounds, five assists, and four steals. Mason Santini supplied 15 points and nine rebounds. Bryce Constantino had seven points in the first half and finished with nine. Other scorers for MM: Luis Crespo-Toledo (4), Matt Bacon (3), Owen Yencer (2), Aidan Stantley (2), and Chase Young (1).

Patrick Klump scored 19 including 11 in the fourth quarter, as Warsaw held off a Pavilion rally. Despite leading by eight at halftime, Warsaw surrendered the lead temporarily in the third quarter after a run by Pavilion. In addition to his 11 points, Klump made multiple steals in the game’s final quarter to help seal the win for Warsaw. Quinton Librock had 18 points. Ty Joy turned in 11 points. Case Cummons led Pavilion with 23 points, while Landon Stoddard put up 11..

Jake Pangrazio scored 13 points and became York’s all time leading scorer, breaking a 26-year old record formerly held by Matt Orman. The win was York’s seventh this season by 25 points or more. Joe Bauer led with a game-high 17 points. Parker Bonafede chipped in 14 points. Adam Szcech and Connor Rodwell each scored seven points. Quinn Baker had 10 points for Letchworth. Issac Hansen and Blake Jackson each put up seven points.
“It was a really nice night for the guys, it’s a well deserved honor for Jake to ascend to the top of the scoring leaderboard,” said York head coach Ed Orman. “He’s put in a ton of work and has had such great support from his family and team. I couldn’t be more happy for him and look forward to watching him still grow and improve this season. Overall it was a solid team with lots of contributions from the entire group, 10 players scoring and everyone playing a lot and supporting each other was much needed after dropping 2 of 3. We will enjoy tonight and then put it behind us and get ready for a really tough Geneseo squad on Friday.”
